Tianji 9000 was officially released: 4nm process, the first model landed in Q1 next year

Tencent Digital News On December 16, Beijing time, MediaTek officially released the Tianji 9000 mobile platform, which took the lead in using TSMC's 4nm process and brought a new CPU architecture. At the press conference, MediaTek announced that the first smartphone product equipped with the chip will be available in the first quarter of next year.

In the CPU part, the Tianji 9000 adopts the latest architecture of Arm v9, and adopts three clusters of cores internally: 1 Cortex-X2 super core with a main frequency of 3.05GHz, 3 A710 large cores with a main frequency of 2.85GHz, and 4 A510 small cores. MediaTek official data shows that with the help of this new super core, the performance of the Tianji 9000 has increased by 35% and the efficacy by 37%.

In terms of GPU, the Tianji 9000 also uses Arm's latest Mali-G710 core, which has increased performance by 35% and power efficiency by 160%. This also makes the game experience better, according to reports, Tianji 9000 can support more 90 frames or even 120 frames of high frame rate games.

IsP has also made corresponding improvements, this Tianji 9000 has a 3-core ISP, the first 3-way 18-bit HDR video recording and triple exposure, processing speed of 9 billion pixels / second, up to 320 million pixel cameras, support 8K AV1 video playback, up to 144Hz 2K+ resolution screen or 180Hz 1080P+ screen.

AI capabilities are also capabilities that MediaTek chips have been emphasizing recently. The Tianji 9000 uses MediaTek's fifth-generation APUs, which has 4 times more performance and efficacy than the previous generation.

In terms of memory, Tianji 9000 supports LPDDR5x memory, and the rate can reach up to 7500Mbps, compared with this year's chip, bandwidth and energy efficiency have been greatly improved.

In terms of connectivity, Tianji 9000 also has outstanding parameter performance. Including the world's first chip to support Bluetooth 5.3, supporting 3CC multi-carrier aggregation.

OPPO announced that the next-generation Find X flagship series will be the first to be equipped with the Tianji 9000 processor, which will be officially released in the first quarter of next year, while vivo and Redmi also said that the new products will be the first to be equipped.
