This device is open, small round lip, obliquely curved abdomen, short circle foot, flat bottom. The tire quality is delicate, the whole body is glazed with blue glaze, the glaze is opened with small grains, the inner glaze is engraved with phoenix pattern dark flowers, the bottom of the vessel is full of glaze, and the end of the circle foot exposes the dark brown tire, that is, the "purple iron foot". There are very few Southern Song Dynasty official kilns that have been handed down, and this porcelain cup has the typical characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln with a thin tire thick glaze, open pieces, and purple iron feet, which is extremely precious.

The Southern Song Dynasty official kiln has the characteristics of thin glaze and purple iron feet. The glaze color pursues the jade texture, using a thick glaze process, that is, first firing the blank tire and then repeatedly applying the glaze, so that the enamel is lustrous like jade. Utensils fired using this low-temperature vegetarian firing process generally have a glaze thickness of 0.2 cm. During firing, the glaze of the end of the hoop foot is scraped off, and the pad cake is burned into the kiln pad, and the sole end of the rear ring is unglazed, and the tread is dark gray or gray-brown, that is, "iron foot". There are also a small number of nails fired, but the nail marks are small and the section is gray.

In Song Ye's "Tanzhai Biheng", it is recorded that after the Southern Song Dynasty Lin'an (present-day Hangzhou) repaired the Neisi kiln, "a new kiln was erected under the suburban altar". The site was discovered in the early 20th century, and excavations began in 1956, where fragments of kilns, utensils and porcelain were found. Specimens mainly include plates, bowls, plates, washed and imitations of The Zhou Qin and Han bronzes and jade-shaped utensils. The soil is black gray and black brown, the tire is thinner, the glaze is thicker, and the glaze color is pink blue, moon white, beige and other colors. The glaze has open pieces, larger stripes, and ice cracks, which are basically consistent with the characteristics of the official kiln ware recorded in the literature.

At present, the official kiln utensils that have been handed down from generation to generation mainly include various washings such as squares, circles, sunflower mouths, folding edges, bottles of melon ridges, piercing ears, galls, strings, etc., sunflower mouths, fancy plates, sunflower mouths, round mouth bowls, and cup holders. Most have the characteristics of purple iron feet.
