Hangzhou, January 25 (China News Network) -- On January 25, the "Song Yun Liufang - Jin Guorong Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Works Exhibition" opened at the Zhejiang Provincial Museum (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Bo") in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and the exhibition will last until March 6.

Among them, the "Jade Linglong" series of works was inspired by Liangzhu Yuqun and produced by the double-layer blank method. It is reported that this technique is the result of Jin Guorong's innovation of the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln production technique. The difficulty is so great that the success rate of the work is about 10%-20%.

As we all know, the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln is one of the five famous kilns in ancient China. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Lin'an (present-day Hangzhou), the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, successively set up the Xiu NeiSi and the suburban altar kiln, which were specially designed for the court to burn royal porcelain.

According to the Southern Song Dynasty Ye Xiao's "Tanzhai Pen Heng", "Raiding the legacy of the old Capital, placing the kiln in the Xiu Neisi, making green utensils, the name of the inner kiln." Pure clay is exemplary, extremely delicate, oil-colored and clear, and cherished by the world. It can be seen that the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln represents the highest level of the Porcelain Industry of the Song Dynasty, winning with a dignified and regular type and a symmetrical and smooth glaze color.

On the same day, when talking about the characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln porcelain, Jin Guorong talked about it. He said that the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln porcelain is a thin tire thick glaze, and its vessel type is relatively solemn, elegant and concise, without complex decoration, and pursues minimalist beauty.

As a representative inheritor of the tangible cultural heritage of Hangzhou Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Porcelain Making Technology at the provincial level, Jin Guorong has been engaged in the research and production of Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Celadon for nearly 40 years, and his creative and design works have boldly innovated on the basis of inheriting tradition, and have won national gold awards such as "Hundred Flowers Cup" and provincial and municipal awards for many times, and have also been collected by many museums and art galleries.

It is worth mentioning that he himself also won the honor of "Contribution To the Restoration and Development of Chinese Ceramics Historical Famous Kilns" in 2019.

Regarding Jin Guorong's research and practice of the Southern Song Dynasty official kilns, Gao Eryi, former vice president of the China Academy of Art and former deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, believes that it is really rare for him to rigorously maintain and inherit the characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty official kilns.

At the same time, he praised Jin Guorong's breakthroughs in difficult production techniques, such as double-layer drawing blanks, hollow carving, corrugated plastering, and isometric rotating radiation. (End)
