Nintendo has not released much information about the sequel to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", and three new Nintendo game patents have been exposed recently, and their details are very similar to the content in the E3 "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" sequel trailer.
The first patent (WIPO No. 2020370175) was related to wall-piercing movement, with Link going up the wall in the sequel trailer for Breath of the Wild, and this patent states that this kind of wall-piercing action can be used anytime, anywhere, rather than necessarily in a specific location.
The second patent (WIPO No. 20210370178) deals with environmental puzzles and their implications, and in the trailer Link acquires a new ability to reverse the time of an object, and this patent explains how the mechanism works.
The third patent (WIPO No. 20210370179) focuses on free fall, where a character can take a variety of actions while in free fall, including turning around, swooping, and shooting enemies with bows and arrows.
