And now, whistleblower Tom Henderson has released a report on Xfire showing that Ubisoft is satisfied with the performance of "Watanabe: Rise of Fennis" because it approved the game's sequel. Ubisoft's Quebec studio, which previously developed Wataru: Rise of Fennes, may be in charge of the game's development, which is currently in the pre-production phase.
Back in April last year, Julien Galloudec, deputy director of Watanabe: Rise of Fennes, said that the development team was very keen on the success of the game and upgraded it to a series. Somewhat regrettably, Ubisoft has not released sales figures for Watanabe so far.
