Embracer promises that works such as "Breaking Bad" and "Thief" will produce sequels!

Swedish game holding group Epicracer yesterday announced a $300 million acquisition of SE's three overseas studios (Crystal Power, Eideos, SE Montreal) to pocket well-known IPs such as Tomb Raider, Deus Ex off the Siege and Thief, after which they mentioned their intention to have the acquired studios produce sequels to these well-known IPs.

Embracer promises that works such as "Breaking Bad" and "Thief" will produce sequels!

Embracer said they see "investable opportunities" for these IPs, which will allow the three studios to produce "exciting new series and original IPs." Among them, Embracer particularly emphasized the IP of "Out of the Siege", hinting at the launch of the sequel to "Out of the Siege".

It is worth mentioning that Crystal Power has officially announced that the new "Tomb Raider" will be produced in Unreal 5, and is working with Microsoft to produce "Perfect Darkness"; Eideos and SE Montreal still have projects in hand, so it will be a long time before we want to see the sequels to "Breakout" and "Thief".
