Because the Qing Dynasty often had "literal prisons" and used the culture of the mentally handicapped to fool the people, there were many talents of the Qing Dynasty, but there were only a few real ideological giants, and Ji Xiaolan could barely be counted as one.
Ji Xiaolan is a famous "talented person", talented and uninhibited, there are many talents in ancient times, such as Li Bai and Liu Yong, but almost no one will associate "talented people" with the word eroticism. Unfortunately, Ji Xiaolan just broke this point of view, so that the society at that time forced these two unrelated things together.

Ji Xiaolan is not only lustful, but also good meat, especially pork
Ji Xiaolan has a habit: only eat pork, all others are rejected, once, Ji Xiaolan came to the guests during the meal, and as a result, he ate three pounds of pork hot pot in front of the guests, and the guests were confused. Now in the TV series, Ji Xiaolan is often played as a middle-aged charming uncle who understands the way of health and humor, in fact, Ji Xiaolan is very likely to be a greasy fat man who eats and drinks.
Next, let's talk about lust: the "Worm Song Manga" says that he is "a woman of the day, five drums like a dynasty, once in the house, once at noon, once in the twilight, once in bed, and it is indispensable." In addition, those who are happy and fortunate often have", this kind of behavior similar to the Sui Dynasty Emperor's "imperial female car", but it happened to a Qing Dynasty minister, which may be just a little artistic rendering of Cai Yuzi.
However, the "Miscellaneous Records of the Xiaoting Pavilion" written by the Qing Dynasty Imperial Family Zhao fan also records: "This year is eighty, still lustful, eating ten pounds of meat every day, not eating a grain all day long, and really strange people."
Zhaomu is recognized for his rigorous academic discipline, and has contacts with Famous Scholars such as Ji Xiaolan, Gong Zizhen, and Yuan Ming, and all the reporters are secrets that are not in the history of Zhengshi, but many historical materials are taken from them as evidence, even the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty" is no exception. Zhao's record is much more credible than that of Cai Yuzi, and coupled with his relationship with Ji Xiaolan, Ji Xiaolan's claim that he is lustful and delicious is also entered into the system.
First, let's take a look at Ji Xiaolan's marriage and concubines
Ji Xiaolan had a total of one wife and six concubines in his lifetime, but in his "Notes on Reading Wei Caotang", only the main wife and two concubines were mentioned.
Masamune Ma
Ji Xiaolan's wife's surname is Ma, which was run by his half-brother Ji Qinghu when he was 17 years old, ma xianliang, and Ji Xiaolan also respected each other, but hindered by Ji Xiaolan's concubine, but gave birth to a lot of vinegar intentions, resulting in the second half of his life not very favored, in 1795 AD, died of illness. Among the concubines, his favorite ones were Guo Caifu and Shen Mingxuan.
Concubine Guo
Guo Caifu and Ji Xiaolan have a big age difference, when they were 12 years old, they were married to Ji Xiaolan, who was 60 years old, and the two often read and wrote together, and emotionally they raised their eyebrows and envied others. Once Ji Xiaolan was ostracized by the DPRK and was demoted to Xinjiang, and when he returned, the concubine Guo Caifu was seriously ill and died, which was a heavy blow to Ji Xiaolan, and when he was collecting Guo's relics, he saw things and thoughts, burst into tears, did not eat for several days, and composed two poems to talk about deep feelings.
Concubine Shen
Another concubine, Shen Mingxuan, was born smart and beautiful, and her ancestor was Ma Zhiyuan, who wrote the famous sentence "Dead Vines and Old Trees and Crows", and was very favored by Ji Xiaolan because of her poetry and books, but the heavens did not pay special attention to her, and she died young at the age of more than 30.
In the face of Shen's portrait, Ji Xiaolan wrote down a deep poem of "A glimpse of the spring dream without a trace, the most concerned is in the faint", and it is recorded in the "Notes on Reading Wei Caotang" that Shen's soul visited Ji Xiaolan many times, which shows that the two have a deep affection and the deepest feelings. After the death of the Shen clan, he quickly took the Shen clan to marry the concubine as a concubine, and thought of the reason for the Shen clan.
Ji Xiaolan is not a fool, knowing that this will be criticized by people, why should he do it?
The Qianlong Emperor prides himself on being the "Perfect Old Man", the first in the world in literary martial arts, and it is impossible to allow others to surpass him, so what can Ji Xiaolan do under such a good and great achievement leader? Either hiding and burying his talents to cater to the leadership, or resigning and leaving, it is clear that Ji Xiaolan chose the former one.
The Qing Dynasty used a high-pressure policy of literature to suppress the literati and castrate cultural thought, and Ji Xiaolan could not laugh at it like He Yan, but could only vent all his talents and energy in other aspects, and try to avoid being caught by people with hearts in literature. I have read his "Notes on Reading Wei Caotang", and to be honest, although this book is often compared with Pu Songling's "Liaozhai Zhiyi", the content is mostly empty, that is, reading it when you are bored.
During the years of Qianlong's reign, nearly a hundred literary prisons occurred, half of which occurred when Ji Xiaolan was compiling the "Four Libraries of the Whole Book." Ji Xiaolan compiled one, and Qianlong launched a major case, which not only checked the "prohibited" books, but also warned Ji Xiaolan to compile them well, and to "watch and do" what should not be compiled. Under such heavy pressure, Ji Xiaolan, who was full of skills, had no way to do anything.
While emasculating the social culture, Ji Xiaolan also castrated himself, imprisoned his thoughts, and began to indulge in eroticism, since the era is not suitable for him, then he will avoid this era. "There is meat in this dynasty, and tomorrow's daughter will come to tomorrow's imperial court"!
