AMD CES new product launch official announcement: processor, graphics Card Update

AMD officially announced today that it will hold the 2022 new product launch meeting on Tuesday, January 14, 2021 at 23:00 Beijing time.

Dr. Lisa Su, President and CEO of AMD Corporation, will host the conference, highlighting the upcoming AMD Ryzen™ processors, AMD Radeon graphics cards, and related innovations and solutions.

AMD did not disclose more product details, but there is no doubt that the processor will have two major series, one is the desktop Ryzen 6000 series, codenamed Vermeer S, on the basis of the existing 7nm Zen3 architecture of the Ryzen™ 5000 series, 3D stacking additional cache, game performance can be improved by an average of 15%.

The second is the mobile Ryzen 6000H/6000U series, codenamed Rembrandt, and it is expected that the CPU architecture will be upgraded to Zen3+, the GPU architecture will be upgraded to RDNA2, and the manufacturing process will also be upgraded to 6nm.

As for the Zen4 architecture, it was previously expected to be by the end of next year, and the latest exposure said that it may be advanced to the middle of next year, and may be launched at Computex 2022 Taipei.

In terms of graphics, it will definitely announce the entry-level RX 6500 XT, RX 6400, of course, it will take a while to go on the market, and there should be more products.

During this year's CES 2022 exhibition, Intel will launch the 12th generation Core desktop version of the non-K series model, notebook mobile version, and announce the Alchemy Arc game graphics card.

NVIDIA is expected to launch more models of the RTX 30 series, including desktop and mobile versions.
