Reconstructing the imagination| L-Acoustics Spring New Product Launch!

At 5:00 p.m. Beijing time on May 9, L-Acoustics held a spring new product launch in its birthplace of Paris. Affected by the global epidemic, this new product launch is in the form of pre-recorded broadcast, released on the official website of L-Acoustics and YouTube on time. In order to allow customers and friends in the Greater China region to watch the latest information for the first time, Huahui also carried out real-time broadcasting in the live broadcast room. Since the whole process of the press conference was in English, Huahui gave Chinese text explanation for everyone in the live broadcast room.

The launch was co-hosted by Guillaume Le Nost, Executive Director of Creative Technology at L-Acoustics, Scott Sugden, Director of Marketing, Jordan Tani, Marketing Manager, and Germaiin Simon, Marketing Director (from left to right). What are some of the disruptive new product releases? Now it's up to you.

ATMOSPHERE

Virtual acoustic system

For years, L-Acoustics has been exploring the conundrum of "how to make connections between technology, art, music and experience," and it's not enough to pursue the clarity of sound delivery, as Guillaume Le Nost, Executive Director of Creative Technology, puts it: "We want to impress the audience with a sound experience that immerses the audience, and the focus of this sound experience is not on technology, but on the emotion itself." ”

Yes, we shouldn't stop there. We began to think more deeply about what else L-ISA could do to take the user experience to the next level. Through many project practices, it has been found that while L-ISA can connect artists and audiences in immersive sound, there is a disconnect between them – different environments have different acoustic properties, and the relationship between architecture and acoustics has a very important impact on our musical experience.

We need to reconnect space and sound, and the L-ISA Ambiance virtual acoustic system is the perfect bridge. Ambiance helps us change the aural sound of the space for different applications anytime, anywhere, with a single touch, both to achieve greater clarity in the speaker's voice on stage and to transform the venue into a vibrant concert hall for symphonic performances when needed.

It can subtly connect the architecture, artists and audiences, allowing everyone on site to immerse themselves in a virtual world full of surprises.

Marketing Manager

To provide a more perfect solution, L-Acoustics' ecosystem begins with our powerful software tools: Soundvision and LA Network Manager. Customers can design speaker and microphone systems for Ambiance in Soundvision, calibrate and monitor them in la Network Manager control software, and then mix them in the L-ISA system and send them to our outstanding electronics and speaker systems. L-ISA Ambiance is available in different versions of L-ISA2 generation processors, and the flexibility of the L-Acoustics acoustic ecosystem also allows Ambiance to meet the needs of virtually any project and venue.

To achieve a truly immersive sound experience, technology also needs to be integrated into the space. L-Acoustics also pays attention to the connection between sound and visual design in the space, and how to integrate them into the environment.

Soka & SB6i

Integrate with the environment

For smaller space requirements, we have an excellent solution from the combination of the X4i and SB10i. For more space, higher performance, greater sound pressure levels, longer projection distances, etc., we have an elegant and powerful Syva. However, we are also thinking: how do we solve applications that require both Syva-like performance and X4i-like "hidden" applications?

To that end, we've introduced the new compact Colinear Source speaker Soka.

Small in size but high in energy, Soka uses the same technology as Syva that combines linear and point sound sources. Only 99 mm deep and 99 mm wide, the small figure of just over 1 meter high accommodates 12 high-power output drive units. Using different pendants, Soka can provide a variety of installation options, even within the wall, without difficulty, suitable for multi-purpose performance spaces, churches, hotels, educational venues, and even living rooms.

To better support Soka and X4i, we designed a new compact ultra-low speaker, the SB6i. The front of the SB6i is only 300x360mm. Like Soka, it can be elegantly adapted to all installation sites. In a small cabinet, the SB6i produces a sound pressure level of 114dB with frequencies as low as 29Hz.

Whether wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted or concealed, the SB6i is achievable, and its compact nature allows it to "fit" into almost any environment. Not only that, soka and SB6i can customize colors, only you can't think of it, you can't do it without it. Both products also have an IP55 rating, which means they can be adapted to a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors.

LA7.16i

Currently the most advanced amplifier

Reconstructing the imagination| L-Acoustics Spring New Product Launch!

Today's amplifier controllers are designed more than 20 years ago and have been updated and iterated over the years. All along, while the power is increasing, the volume and weight of the amplifier are also decreasing.

Scott Sugden, Director of Marketing, believes that the design of traditional amplifiers is disconnected from practical applications. In almost all cases, amplifiers are conceived as coping with the toughest situations, as if they thought all connected speakers were low-frequency speakers. This disconnect can lead to the following problems:

The efficiency of the amplifier is greatly reduced

Limits the power available

This has led to an increase in the cost of multi-channel use

Therefore, in order to achieve the highest efficiency and the best results, L-Acoustics has taken a new perspective on the design of the amplifier and considered how to use all the "power". In order to reflect the advantages of system design, we need to think differently about how multi-channel systems work, redefine what is "scaled up", and rethink the relationship between the design of the amplifier and the actual use case.

The birth of LA7.16i perfectly solves the above problems. It is designed for multi-channel applications and is currently the most advanced amplifier available. The LA7.16i has 16 high-power outputs, each with the same peak voltage output as the LA12X, each delivering 1300 watts of power at 8 ohms.

L-Acoustics broke with the traditional design concept and developed a completely new technology - L-SMART, adaptive system modeling resource allocation technology. During the development of L-SMART, we selected more than 2,000 different songs from various playback software for practical testing and verification.

To assist system designers, consultants, integrators, certified suppliers. The Soundvision software and LA Network Manager software we developed can show how many speakers LA7.16i can generally drive at the same time. Or you can take advantage of L-SMART's features to get the LA7.16i to its maximum power output.

The LA7.16i amplifier controller supports the most reliable and highest quality redundant backup Milan AVB protocol through two network interfaces. Users can use L-ISA processors 2nd generation and LA7.16i amplifiers directly in The Ambiance project, connect using P1 AVB mixing processors, or with any third-party device that supports the Milan protocol.

L-Acoustics has long been a proponent of open source standards for network audio transmission, and we understand how important it is to connect with other devices and integrate into existing projects. That is why in future firmware updates, LA7.16i will support the audio AES67 protocol.

As a power amplifier controller for fixed installation applications, all the output input terminals of la7.16i are in the back panel, which is easy to connect and fast to install, which can save a lot of time and improve efficiency for installers. The power supply modules and each channel use high-standard components to handle extreme situations with ease. In addition, LA7.16i has also carried out a new ventilation design for high-power power amplifier heat dissipation, so that it can still be used normally in the hottest places on earth.

Scott Sugden also added that the LA7.16i is L-Acoustics' most environmentally friendly amplifier controller. Not only does it reduce the space requirements, but it also greatly reduces the cost of integration. In practical applications, the cost per channel is reduced by 40%.

This spring new product launch has come to a successful end, I believe everyone can't wait to meet them! The full version video of the subtitles Chinese the press conference will be released on the "Huahui Audio" WeChat video number, so stay tuned!
