IT Home February 18 news, more than half a year ago a plus launched Nord 2 5G, and now the company launched a plus Nord CE 2 5G new machine, CE stands for Core Edition (Core Edition), the machine is a stripped-down version of Nord 2 5G, the appearance of the redesign.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 retains the Nord 2's 90Hz 6.43-inch AMOLED display and 4,500 mAh battery, supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging, adopts the new Tianji 900 5G chipset, and replaces the camera.
The Nord CE 2 5G has a slim body of only 7.8 mm, with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot, neither of which is available on the Nord 2. There's a redesigned camera module on the back of the machine, with a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera is 16 MEGApixels and on the Nord 2 is 32MP.
The new models have versions with 6GB and 8GB of memory, while versions with only 128GB of storage can be expanded via microSD slots. In terms of software, the machine is equipped with OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11.
IT House learned that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is available in gray mirrors and Bahamian blue. The 6/128GB version, priced at INR 23,999 (approximately RMB 2025.52), will go on sale in India on February 22 and in Europe on March 10.
