Documentary New York Gangster Documentary The era of the godfather archetypal character Luciano has arrived

author:Ferry seven brothers

To succeed, Luciano has to do a bold job and remove the huge obstacles in his way, that is, to kill his boss Masseria.

On October 28, 1929, the stock market crashed in the beautiful country, evaporating billions of dollars in market value in one day. This is the worst economic crisis ever recorded in a beautiful country. 9,000 banks failed and a quarter of people lost their jobs. At a time when people were desperate about the Great Depression, Luciano saw another opportunity. Lending services to businesses on the verge of bankruptcy. Charge high interest rates. Luciano soon acquired a stake in New York's large and small businesses. But to give a portion of the income to Masseria, Luciano was so powerful and well-winged that he thought it was time to root out those who had created huge obstacles on his way to the top. But Luciano has not yet moved, and a new rival has emerged. It was Maranzano sent from Sicily to develop new York. As soon as they arrived in New York, they rallied The Messeria's warehouse to the ground and wrote a war letter to Masseria. A battle over the market began. The streets of New York quickly turned into a firefight. This battle is known as the battle of the two males. Luciano, as Masseria's right-hand man, fell into the hands of rival gangs in this fight. Luciano was beaten and tortured for eight hours, already dying, before being thrown in the middle of the street with a heavy bayonet. Luciano miraculously survived, which gave him a lifelong nickname, which was lucky. It is customary to call him lucky Luciano. The fight between Masseria and Maranzano takes place every day on the streets of New York, with no negotiations or reconciliation. Luciano knew that Masseria must be removed to stop the chaos. So he came to Maranzano to negotiate, and the two reached an agreement, Luciano helped Maranzano get rid of Masseria, and then the two sat on an equal footing and did not invade each other.

Luciano bribed Masseria's bodyguards and then hosted a banquet for Masseria. During the meal, Luciano went to the bathroom "at the right time" and returned to find that Masseria had been shot and killed indiscriminately. Luciano called the police and explained that he didn't see who did it, and he went to the toilet to pee. "I pee for a long time every time," Luciano explained, and the phrase made headlines in The New York Times the next day.

Maranzano did not recognize the agreement with Luciano to be the pope of New York. Soon, Luciano killed Maranzano in a similar way. The deaths of the two elders put the 34-year-old Luciano at the top of the pyramid, invincible, and the era when the New York gangsters belonged to Luciano finally arrived, and he began to work on optimizing the mafia.
