Movie Synopsis: More than a century ago in New York, corrupt politicians used unsavory filthy tactics to compete for the city's official leadership; in manhattan island's Five Divisions, Baoli District, and Paradise Square, the Irish immigrant gangs "Dead Rabbit Party" and "Local Party" blatantly fought by force for territory and everything they could... "New York Gangster" poster The old gang leader of the "Dead Rabbit Party" Preiste Willen (LianNeson) was killed by the leader of the "Local Party" and "Butcher" Bill Poole (Daniel Day-Lewis) was killed, and the young son of the deceased, Amsterdam Viren (Leonardo DiCaprio), succeeded to the position of chief. Of course, his first "deal" after taking office was to kill Bill to avenge his father. However, the years of fighting between the gangs have made it difficult to argue between the two sides, and the "butcher" Bill is really a cold-blooded, murderous butcher who does not blink, which makes Amsterdam's revenge plan difficult. Getting to know the thief Jenny Everdian (Cameron Diaz) seems to have turned things around, her help gives Amsterdam new hope, and the two gradually fall in love through mutual cooperation and use - who knows if this is a blessing or a curse for the road to revenge...
