All the staff of the 2021 Hebei Youth Archery Championships mourned the victims of the Nanjing Massacre

Today, the 2021 Hebei Youth Archery Championships entered the second competition day, which coincided with the eighth National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, and before the start of the competition, all the personnel held a silent ceremony, and all the participating athletes, referees and staff present held a three-minute silence to pay tribute to more than 300,000 compatriots who died.

In this competition, the outstanding archers in our province fully demonstrated their talents and skills in this traditional project, and staged a wonderful "100 steps through Yang" stunt.

In this competition, the excellent "archers" of our province gathered together, accompanied by the crisp sound of bow strings, and arrows flew out and hit the bullseye steadily. The contestants and coaches said that everyone learned and communicated with each other in the competition, honed their psychology and skills in the fierce competition, and gained a lot.

The competition was hosted by the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau, and organized by the Shooting and Archery Sports Center of the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau and the Hebei Provincial Shooting and Archery Association. The competition has three competition days, a total of 9 cities, 2 associations of representative teams to participate, a total of more than 200 athletes, participating in the men's and women's group A, B, C group recurve bow project, men's and women's composite bow project competition, as well as team and mixed team competitions, a total of more than 30 sub-events.

As the largest and high-level youth archery competition in the indoor events held in our province in recent years, this event is also one of the key events of the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau this year, which has played an important role in promoting the healthy development of young people and strengthening the training of competitive sports reserve talents, further popularizing archery, and improving the archery skills of young people.

Since the opening of archery projects in our province in 2018, the scale of participation has gradually grown, and various competitions have increased significantly. 1 athlete achieved the international athlete technical level, 8 athletes achieved the athlete technical level, nearly 100 people reached the level of first-class athletes, and many athletes were sent to the national team for training.
