Hou Baohua, real name Hou Baohua, pen name Miao Xinyuan, Hua Yi Servant, Hongzhi Mountain people. Poet and painter, he taught at universities and served in government agencies. He is currently a member of the Hebei Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Writers Association, a director of the Huang Binhong Painting Institute, a member of the Chinese Popular Literature and Poetry Committee, a contracted artist of the "Ink Danqing" and "Famous Lecture Hall" columns of China Education Television, a certified member of Ink Danqing, and a senior expert researcher of Beijing Jinghua Sacred Medical And Health Research Institute.

His poetry works have been published in newspapers and periodicals such as Poetry Journal, People's Daily, China Culture Daily, Chinese Writers, Selected Poems, Tianjin Poets, And Yanhe, and published a collection of poems, "One Hundred Boiling Points of Emotion" (2007).
