Chen Mingguang was born in December 1945 in Yangliu Bay, Jiaxing. His father, Chen Yuhe, was a Kuomintang patriot engaged in intelligence work during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, who provided important intelligence for the Kuomintang and the Communist Party during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and made immortal achievements in the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.
Chen Mingguang himself experienced the hardships of the Cultural Revolution, left his hometown to set up a business, in 1978 he served as the director of Wenzhou Arts and Crafts Factory, in 1982 he served as the director of Fenghua Plastics Craft General Factory, in 1986 he served as a legal person of Jiaxing Yuhua Company, etc., and served as a member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the chairman of the Suburban Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee, the vice president of the Taiwan Federation, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce.
He is now a contracted artist of China Education Television's "Ink Danqing" & "Famous Lecture Hall" column, and a member of the Ink Danqing Calligraphy and Painting Institute
At a time when his career was in full swing, Master Chen Mingguang could not give up the calligraphy and seal engraving art he loved since childhood, and resolutely decided to abandon the business and literature, stay away from the hustle and bustle, carefully study and create, and now what he is doing more is to promote and study Chinese culture and inherit Chinese character classics.
