On the occasion of the 100-day countdown to the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games have also ushered in the final sprint stage. In order to better display the charm of the "City of the Two Olympics" and tell the story of China's new era, on October 24, 2021, Mr. Huang Xin, a Chinese carving artist, led his students to start creating the "Torch, Mascot Ice Pier" hair carving art works for the Winter Olympic Games, stimulating the enthusiasm of the Chinese people for the Olympic Movement, and wishing the success of the "Double Olympics" through the art of craftsmen.
This creation is a new chapter after the 2008 Fa-carving Art Olympic Games, the 2010 Fa-Carving World Expo, the 2012/16 Olympic Games, the 2018 World Cup, the 2018 National Fa-carving Great Wall, the 2020 Fa-carved Angel in White, and the 2021 Fa-Sculpture 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party, and once again shows the wonderful and outstanding World Olympic Games of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games. With a touch of affectionate words, "light" the "torch" of China's ice and snow sports.
Mr. Huang Xin actively responded to the advocacy of "300 million people on the ice and snow, 1.4 billion people on the Winter Olympics, and national sports and health", and collected the hair of 56 ethnic people, Olympic champions, world champions, celebrities, entrepreneurs, caring people, long-hair world record holders and ice and snow lovers who have been collected nationwide for several years, using unique hair carving art and complex production techniques, through hair collection, splitting, selection, cleaning, disinfection, drying, length and short distinction, color processing, drawing, sculpture and other processes. Finally, the 72-centimeter-long, 1.4-kilogram Olympic flame "Torch" (representing 1.4 billion people) and the 56-centimeter-high, 5.6-kilogram hair (representing 56 ethnic groups) were created as the "Ice Pier" of the Beijing Winter Olympics mascot in China.
This time, Mr. Huang Xin and his creative team will carry two pieces of Winter Olympic art "Torch" and "Ice Pier", actively participate in various exhibitions and display activities related to the Olympic Games during the 100-day countdown to the end of the Winter Olympic Games, and are eager to donate them to the International Olympic Museum through relevant departments, to contribute to the promotion of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, and at the same time to spread the artistic spirit of the craftsmanship of the Chinese nation around the world.
Fayi micro-carving technology is a unique sculpture production method developed by Mr. Huang Xin in 2008 and obtained the Chinese intellectual property rights in 2012. At present, Mr. Huang Xin and his team of students are actively preparing for the Hair Sculpture Art Museum, in order to facilitate more people to transform the hair cut out in their daily lives into works of art with collection and preservation value, which will be permanently passed on to our descendants; I also hope that this unique innovative technology training can lead to more re-employment!
"The skin of the body and the parents of the body", the hair is the carrier of the parents' bones and blood genes. Using the "hair" and culture that ancestors have given to their descendants and can be preserved forever to show the spirit of great unity of the Chinese nation is the best way to inherit and carry forward the excellent "filial piety" culture of the Chinese nation.
Mr. Huang Xin remembers the important historical facts of modern China by producing hair carving artworks that keep pace with the times and inherit national culture, so that future generations can see things as if they had experienced history, and by recruiting more students to participate in hair art micro-carving technology training, he helps more young people to obtain re-employment opportunities and alleviate the pressure of social employment.
