For example, the price of EQA300 is indeed 50,000 yuan more expensive than the top of GLA 200, but one is 300, one is 200, can the price be the same? See how much the GLA AMG 35 costs? 435,100 yuan. Isn't the price of the EQA 300 just between GLA200 and GLA 35 AMG normal and reasonable?
Also, EQB is also, it is 350 Oh, is the "zero hundred" acceleration of 6.3 seconds of the car Oh, how can it compare with the PRICE of THE GLB 200? You should go and GLB AMG35 to compare well. GLB35 AMG is 449,800 yuan, which is more than 10,000 yuan more expensive than EQB 350!
It seems that "there are words" and "reasonable", but this is exactly where Mercedes-Benz pure electric, and even some traditional car companies, should change the pure electric pricing strategy. Pure electric, if the price is listed according to the performance of the oil car, then all Teslas are almost equivalent to "breaking the bone" in selling the car.
That is to say, pure electricity has a pure electricity pricing system, and it should be separated from the pricing system of fuel vehicles in order to obtain the resonance of pure electricity target groups.
For example, Tesla's Mode Y, its long-endurance all-wheel drive version, the acceleration performance is 5 seconds, more than a second faster than the acceleration of the EQB 350, the size is larger than the EQB, and the level (not considering the brand) should be the same as the EQC level. In other aspects, batteries, battery life, etc., are only strong and not weak. In this case, the price of the Model Y is less than 350,000 yuan, which is 90,000 yuan lower than EQB.
If you have to say that Tesla is a "popular brand", incomparable with the "luxury brand", there is a reference of the same kind - Volvo's XC40 pure electricity, it should be the same level of car as the EQA standard. Then in terms of performance, the XC40's pure electric acceleration is 4.9 seconds, which is faster than the Model Y (long endurance full drive). This has to be put in the Mercedes-Benz, which is equivalent to the EQA 400. However, the starting price of XC40 pure electricity is 286,000 yuan, which is not only 80,000 yuan lower than the EQA 300, but also has more driver assistance with adaptive cruise, automatic anti-glare rearview mirrors and so on. Of course, you may mention that the XC40 has a range of only 420 kilometers, but in fact, the battery capacity of the two cars is not much different (EQA 73.5 degrees, XC40 71 degrees).
So no matter how you look at it, the guidance price of Mercedes-Benz EQA/EQB is "too high". The reason for this is not mercedes-Benz's "black heart", but that its product pricing strategy has not yet "changed thinking" - it is not priced according to the rules of pure electricity.
So you may worry: consumers are not fools, who will buy such an unusually high price? Is it really by the faith of Mercedes-Benz? Of course not. Looking at EQC's terminal discounts, you will know that the terminal prices of EQA and EQB will still tend to be "reasonable" (for example, the discount is 8-10 million yuan).
However, this kind of "high guidance price, high discount" pricing thinking itself may need to be converted - to see the current pure electric models, even if it is Volkswagen's ID. series, who will inflate the guidance price by more than 20% and then play the discount? The more mainstream trend should be like the new forces, completely in accordance with the official unified price, the official website to set the transaction. When there is a real need for price changes, it is also directly through "official rise" or "official decline". Although this may cause some controversy (such as Tesla and Xiaopeng's price reduction rights), a more transparent and more landed price can save the new generation of car buyers the trouble of "inquiring".

MG ONE's warm-up time is not short, and now that it is officially listed, the attention it has aroused will naturally not be low. At first glance, MG ONE and the pilot size are not much different, the design style is also the same (both belong to the "third generation of family design" of MG), which is easy to form the illusion of "is not a younger version of the pilot". But in fact, MG ONE is fundamentally different from the pilot in terms of platform architecture, body structure, and even powertrain. In particular, two new things: the SIGMA architecture and the CVT325, which debuted at MG ONE, are very noteworthy – it largely heralds the product strength of MG and even the entire Shanghai car model.
At the same time, because the size and wheelbase of the MG ONE are smaller than the pilot, some details are also more "carefully calculated" (such as the steering wheel only supports two-way adjustment). Judging from the "convention", it is unlikely to be a "new generation pilot". In Uncle Ka's view, this should be a new product created by SAIC for a younger group, and the positioning idea is similar to models such as Changan UNI-T.
The look of mg one is really very similar to the navigator, but there are two significant differences. One is the side windows and suspended roof, which makes it look more dynamic than the navigator. As early as October, there were reports that the SAIC CVT family was offline in a group. Among them, CVT280 is a new product worth paying attention to - its torque application range is greatly improved compared with the previous CVT180. The "new generation MEGA Tech CVT325 high-torque stepless transmission" officially announced by MG ONE is the corresponding CVT280. This transmission is independently developed by SAIC, the core transmission components are cooperated with Bosch, the transmission ratio can reach 7, and the torque application range should also be able to correspond to 325 Nm from the marked number. Judging from the technology, data and the actual performance of MG ONE, this CVT should be considered remarkable. In the end, whether this transmission will "coexist" with the current SAIC's main 7-speed wet dual clutch, or will gradually replace the dual clutch, it is quite worth paying attention to - the final result will even affect the direction of Chinese brand automatic transmission technology.
At the cost-effective level, whether it is a competitor ratio with its own pilot or a lateral and UNI-T competition, there is no suspense - everything is normal, there is no surprise or need to complain. The market for Chinese brand SUVs has been subdivided to this extent, and the product strategy generally does not deviate much.
From the perspective of brand style, MG has always been a younger sportsman than Roewe. In the field of cars, MG 6 and MG 5 have all made a name for themselves, and ZS for young people in the SUV field is also selling well. Therefore, from a high probability point of view, MG ONE sells better than the pilot will be a high probability event. There should not be many people interested in Subaru BRZ, but if they are really interested, it is estimated that they have also "looked through the autumn water".
Although it is a new generation, although it looks and feels "new", in Uncle Ka's view, this generation of BRZ has not changed much in terms of infrastructure - the silhouette is still the same, even the door shape is like that, but the conspicuous front face and tail are completely redesigned.
However, for this type of car, don't expect it to always be able to make a subversive design when it comes to replacement. Look at Porsche: how many years, how many generations, how many times can it be turned upside down?
Because of its love of horizontal opposition (engine), some people have always called Subaru a "civilian Porsche" (Porsche's sports cars also love horizontal confrontation, and the world plays with these two brands horizontally). However, compared to cars such as the Forester and the Proud Tiger, and even the impreza, they are far from the title of "civilian Porsche".
