If you find fatty liver, do you really care?

With the improvement of people's living standards, diet has also changed, many people go to the hospital for physical examination and find fatty liver; some people are in the hospital hospitalization inadvertently found fatty liver. With fatty liver, what should we do? Do I need treatment?

Many people think that fatty liver, that is, a little more fat in the liver, a little more oil, and nothing uncomfortable, can eat, drink and sleep, do not care at all, or even think so, do not think it is a disease, do not care. This perception is wrong.

If you find fatty liver, do you really care?

Fatty liver, not the liver has gained weight. Wu Liye, deputy chief physician of the Department of Radiology of the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province, introduced that fatty liver is a common pathological change, which is simply that there is more fat accumulation in liver cells than it can appear in many diffuse liver diseases. For example, simple fatty liver, alcoholic fatty liver caused by excessive alcohol consumption, hepatitis caused by some viral infections, and even long-term use of some drugs. Although mild fatty liver disease does not cause damage to liver function, if it is ignored for many years, it can further evolve into liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and finally develop liver cancer.

How is fatty liver tested? Wu Liye, deputy chief physician, said that many people were checked out by ultrasound, and some people were checked out by doing CT examinations for other diseases and were inadvertently detected. Another is that the MRI can be found.

If you find fatty liver, do you really care?

In general, we know that we have a fatty liver, but many people are not very clear whether it is mild, moderate or severe fatty liver, MRI has a liver fat quantitative test can find out whether it is mild, moderate or severe fatty liver. MRI is radiation-free, very sensitive, and very fast and safe.

Why should it be divided into light, medium and severe? Many mild people are asymptomatic. There are only moderate and severe fatty livers, and some people have symptoms, such as fatigue, bad appetite, and even nausea, vomiting and other symptoms.

So what kind of people are high-risk groups? Need to be screened for fatty liver? For example, people like obese people, alcoholics, people who have diabetes themselves, people who take medicine for a long time, people who are usually under excessive work pressure, and people who live a particularly irregular life, these are high-risk groups and need to go to the hospital to check.

If you find fatty liver, do you really care?

Of course, don't be too nervous about finding fatty liver. Fatty liver is reversible, as long as we raise our health awareness, control our mouths, and step out of our legs. Diet, do not eat some fried, fried oily heavy food, eat less takeaway; eat more vegetables, melons and fruits. Try to drink as little as possible. Eat as healthy and nutritious as possible, and then cooperate with the right amount of exercise. As long as we pay attention to it in our minds and act, fatty liver can disappear completely.

But if we keep ignoring it, it is not only the damage to the liver, but also some other diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and so on.
