Many people like the role of Li Yunlong in "Bright Sword", but in fact, this protagonist has a prototype, he is China's founding lieutenant general Wang Jinshan.

Wang Jinshan has been a horse all his life, and his achievements in battle are outstanding, he fights bravely like a lion and a tiger, cunning like a wolf fox, and is known as a "madman".

The most proud example of his life was the ambush of Han Luo Village in the War of Resistance Against Japan.

In 1943, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was in a stalemate stage, and the situation of the battlefield struggle behind enemy lines led by the Communist Party was in full swing. In north China, the Japanese army was overwhelmed by the guerrilla warfare of the Eighth Route Army, and wanted to rely on superior equipment and troop strength to fight a decisive battle, but it could not feel the shadow of the Eighth Route Army, and it was really distressed. To this end, the Japanese army repeatedly organized troops to march west to threaten Yan'an, and reduced the pressure of the guerrilla warfare of the Eighth Route Army in the "occupied areas" by taking the initiative.

In October, in order to defend Yan'an, the 129th Division ordered its subordinate troops to return to northern Shaanxi. Wang Jinshan, who was then the commander of the Second Taiyue Subdistrict, also received orders. After receiving the order, Wang Jinshan immediately led the 16th Regiment of the Second Taiyue Division to set off. More than 2,000 officers and men of the 16th Regiment stayed overnight and went all the way west to the edge of the Taiyue base area in the dark of night -- Hanluo Village, Linfen County, Shanxi.

As soon as he arrived at Han Liu Village and looked around at the terrain, he keenly felt that this was a good place to fight an ambush, and immediately sent scouts to investigate the situation. After understanding the situation, this place is very close to the Japanese army's road line, and there are often Japanese car teams passing by, which is likely to be a japanese transport team transporting ammunition supplies to the front line, and the terrain on both sides of the road is very favorable for ambushes. After listening to the reconnaissance report, Wang Jinshan immediately made a decision and ordered the troops to quickly ambush on both sides of the road and wait for the fighters.

In the early hours of the morning, a Japanese convoy of 3 cars and 13 trucks drove along the road and entered the ambush circle of the 16th Regiment. Seeing that the enemy had already penetrated into his pocket, Wang Jinshan gave an order, and the entire light and heavy machine guns of the 16th Regiment opened fire at the same time, and the bullets rained down on this Japanese convoy.

The Japanese army did not expect that in the early morning of their rear, they encountered the enemy and hurriedly resisted, but after half an hour, 180 people were completely annihilated, and the enemy who came behind only collected the corpses.

Wang Jinshan did not know how many times he had fought large and small battles in his life, and although this ambush destroyed more than 180 people, he did not pay attention to it and continued to lead his troops to northern Shaanxi to defend Yan'an. But when he later reviewed the documents captured by our army when cleaning up the battlefield, he was surprised:

It turned out that this small ambush battle actually fished a big fish: these 180 Japanese troops were a Japanese "field watch group", composed of two squadrons of the Japanese "Indochina Dispatch Infantry School", most of the members were middle and senior generals of the Japanese army, and a small number of junior ranks were also promising new forces among the Japanese generals.

Among these Japanese officers, the highest rank was major general brigade commander Hattori Naoto, and there were 6 squadron leaders, one of whom was actually the nephew of the Emperor of Japan.

In a small battle in Han Luo Village, the 16 regiments led by Wang Jinshan achieved extremely brilliant results at the slight cost of sacrificing five or six people, and the number of senior generals and high ranks of the annihilated enemy army were extremely rare in the history of the War of Resistance Against Japan and even in the history of "World War II".

When he was awarded the rank in 1955, Wang Jinshan was awarded the rank of lieutenant general.

However, in the "Storm of Beauty", he was regarded as a typical person, and was soon assigned to a farm in Zhoukou, Henan Province, as a deputy section chief, from deputy commander of the corps to deputy section level, until 1969, when he was transferred back to the Nanjing Military Region as deputy chief of staff.

In November 1974, Wang Jinshan suddenly vomited blood and was admitted to the hospital, with advanced stomach cancer.

On May 10, 1978, a generation of stars fell.

Wang Jinshan was already a military commander at the age of 20, but his final position did not match his outstanding military achievements, and many of his subordinates had already held positions above the deputy post of the grand military region, which was somewhat difficult to handle.

The superior attached great importance to Wang Jinshan's aftermath, and added a sentence to change on the basis of the original eulogy. The addition of the sentence is "a generation of war generals", and the modified sentence is that "deputy chief of staff" is replaced by "consultant", so that Wang Jinshan has changed from the treatment of a regular military rank to the treatment of a leader of a large military region, and the specifications of the memorial service and the standard of pensions have also been raised one notch. The Central Military Commission followed up with the reissue of Wang Jinshan's appointment as an adviser to the Nanjing Military Region.

It can be seen from this that the merits of General Wang Jinshan are fully affirmed, and his merits will never be erased.
