Sometimes, in the prince's family, the children born to the lower-status concubines can also be called gege. Therefore, an identity like "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" is impossible to have contact with the Five Brothers of Tianhuang Gui in reality! According to the Qinghui Canon, the Shunzhi Emperor made detailed regulations on the princesses' food, clothing, housing, education, and marriage.
For example, from an early age, a princess had to go to school with her princes and receive the same education. They are exposed to Confucian classics from the age of 5, and by the time they are around 10 years old, they learn more masculine subjects such as archery and horseback riding. According to historical records, after the ceremony, the princess was generally given a mansion and left the palace to live alone. In addition, before they got married, the emperor would send five or six triagees, who were usually in their thirties and usually served the princess.
Before the princess married, they would be sent to the horse house, responsible for observing the horse's words and deeds, and then reporting what they saw and heard to the emperor truthfully. For example, Makata, the second daughter of Emperor Taiji, was given the title of Princess Wenzhuang Chang, and when she was 15 years old, her birth mother, Empress Xiaoduanwen, found her a young talent. But a month before the marriage, the trial wife reported to the Emperor Taiji that the horse-to-be liked to drink and was drunk as soon as she drank.
Huang Taiji had no choice but to stop the marriage. Of course, even after investigation and the marriage is completed, the princess cannot relax her heart and live a life. Because the imperial court has a rule, after the princess is married, she must live alone. If the horse wants to find the princess, it must first report through the grandmother, or allow permission to enter the princess's room. In fact, these grandmas are not fuel-saving lamps, they will deliberately make it difficult for the horse and not inform him.
Therefore, in order to meet the princess, the horses would often bribe these grandmothers to give them a little benefit. In the Qing Dynasty Hua Guangsheng's "White Snow Remains", such a thing is told. When he said that Emperor Guang's daughter was married, when he returned to the palace half a year later to see Emperor Daoguang, he couldn't help but complain to him, saying that I had been a widow every day for half a year, and I hadn't seen a full three times with the horse. Daoguang asked, what's the matter? Is there a problem with the pack horse?
The princess shook her head and said that the horse wanted to get close to me, but every time she was blocked by Mamma. I couldn't help it. The princess asked the emperor, who am I marrying? When the emperor heard this, he was furious and immediately issued a decree to kill the ladies. Of course, if you kill these people, there will be a new grandmother sent, but this time, people may be able to restrain a little, and they dare not trip the horse again!
