When the main Red Army marched, the enemy army all pursued, and the Xiang'e-Gansu area was suddenly empty. In the anti-Japanese battlefield, Fu Qiutao was like a fish, with rich guerrilla experience repeatedly attacked the Japanese army, in 1940, from the Japanese army to retake the county seat of Jing County, to the surprise of the Japanese army, his name also quickly spread throughout southern Jiangsu, southern Anhui and other places.
During the "Anhui Southern Incident", Fu Qiutao served as the commander of the 1st Column, commanding more than 3,000 people in 2 regiments as the left side of the whole army.
