During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

Thousands of ancient injustices, Jiangnan yiye; the same room, frying each other is urgent!

In January 1941, Chiang Kai-shek created the Anhui Southern Incident.

During the Anhui Incident, more than 9,000 soldiers of the New Fourth Army were besieged by Gu Zhu's nationalist army. Gu Zhutong deployed 80,000 troops to ambush the New Fourth Army in southern Anhui. After fighting for seven days and nights, the officers and men of the New Fourth Army finally ran out of ammunition and food, outnumbered, and most of the 9,000 soldiers died heroically. Xiang Ying, deputy commander and political commissar of the New Fourth Army, was killed by traitors; when the commander Ye Ting went down the mountain to negotiate, he was unjustifiably detained by the enemy army.

When the Southern Anhui Incident occurred, why did Ye Ting, commander of the New Fourth Army, go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy? Whose idea was it?

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

It was Rao Shiquan who urged Commander Ye to negotiate with the enemy army!

Who is Rao Shiquan?

Rao Shi Quan, trumpet shu shi. Born on November 23, 1903 in Huanzhou, Zhongling Township, Linchuan, Fuzhou City.

Rao Shiquan has been involved in the revolution since he was a teenager. He has held many important positions.

In February 1940, Rao Shiquan was sent to southern Anhui as deputy secretary of the Southeast Bureau to assist Xiang Ying, secretary of the Southeast Bureau.

After the incident in southern Anhui, Commander Ye of the New Fourth Army decided to break through in two ways.

Ye Junchang, Rao Shiquan, and Yuan Guoping were one way; Xiang Ying and Zhou Zikun were the other.

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

On January 14, 1941, the ninth day after the Anhui Incident, Commander Ye junchang and Rao Shiquan and others led the breakthrough troops to climb through the tip of the fire cloud through the fog and came to a narrow deep valley - Xikeng.

The West Pit is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there is no one in the world, and only one valley mouth communicates with the outside world. And it just so happened that the headquarters of the 108th Division of the Kuomintang Army was stationed in the village outside the valley mouth at this moment!

At this time, Commander Ye had more than a thousand soldiers by his side. Everyone advised Commander Ye to go with the fighting troops first, but he refused.

More than a thousand soldiers were trapped in the west pit, the crowd was disparity, the ammunition was exhausted, and the situation was very critical. When everyone was worried, a Kuomintang signal soldier came from the mountain pass holding a white flag and said: "Commander Ye Jun, I am from the 108th Division, my family does not fight my own family, you can send a representative out to negotiate."

Commander Ye was stunned and wondered how to deal with it. Rao Shiquan instructed Lin Zhifu, minister of political work: "You have old friendships with the Kuomintang 108th Division, so you go to negotiate." ”

Lin Zhifu went to negotiate, but unexpectedly, he went down the mountain and heard nothing.

Therefore, Rao Shiquan sent Li Zifang and Huang Cheng to negotiate, but he still never returned.

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

Successively sent people down the mountain to negotiate, but there was no news, and Ye Jun's brow tightened.

Commander Ye stood on the hillside, holding a telescope, watching the enemy' position. At this time, the enemy fired indiscriminately. Everyone was busy persuading the commander to hide. Unexpectedly, Commander Ye not only did not hide, but instead opened the folding chair and sat down, shouting: "I do not hide, what crime did I commit in resisting Japan?" Got them to hit me with machine guns and cannons? ”

The troops were running out of ammunition and the situation was very critical, and it was very dangerous to continue to consume them. So, everyone met to discuss countermeasures.

At the meeting, Rao Shiquan said: "Commander Ye and Gu Zhu are both classmates of the Baoding Army Officer School. I suggested that Commander Ye personally go down the mountain to meet Gu Zhutong. Talk to rong jiwu, commander of his 108th Division, to see if there is room for maneuver. ”

Rong Jiwu joined the Northeast Army in his early years, and before the Anhui Incident, he served as the commander of the 108th Division of the Nationalist Army, and he and Commander Ye had a lot of contacts before, and they were very angry with each other.

After Rao Shiquan made a proposal, Commander Ye replied: "We have no conditions for negotiations at all. I am resolutely unable to go, and going again is also following in the footsteps of Lin Zhifu and others. ”

Rao Shiquan said: "But the enemy shows no signs of relaxing, and unless the enemy is satisfied to a certain extent, we will be able to break through." ”

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

Rao Shiquan saw that Commander Ye was not speaking, and said, "Well, I will go to negotiate and save everyone." ”

Ye Jun's long lifelong warriors had long ago put his life and death on the sidelines, so how could he let others take risks?

After a moment of silence, Commander Ye said, "It was the organization that decided to send me, and I obeyed." ”

Rao Shiquan said: "You went to negotiate because the organization sent you, not by individual actions. In order to save the troops, we will do everything we can. As long as we can get out alive. I should report to my superiors. Among the existing comrades, such as Yi Hao, Junrui, Yu Lijin, Zhang Yuanshou, Wang Fengxian, and other comrades, as long as one of them rushes out, they must report to their superiors to prove that they were sent to you. ”

After hearing this, Commander Ye agreed to go down to the mountain to negotiate.

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

Before descending the mountain, Commander Ye repeatedly said to Rao Shiquan: "You are the deputy secretary of the Southeast Bureau and the representative of the organization, and you will have to prove to your superiors for me in the future that I am not wavering." ”

Rao Shiquan patted his chest and said again, "You can rest assured! It's not you who's going to go, it's what you're sent. As long as one of the comrades can rush out, they can report to their superiors. ”

Although he knows that the enemy's trap is ahead, this is more sinister than ji. But in order to reduce sacrifices and preserve the revolutionary forces, Commander Ye still went down the mountain. Before descending the mountain, he threw his cane into the abyss.

During the Anhui Incident, Rao Shushi said to Commander Ye Ting: In order to save the troops, you go down the mountain to negotiate with the enemy

On the evening of the 14th, Commander Ye went down the hill with several guards to the headquarters of the 108th Division to negotiate.

At the headquarters of the 108th Division, the commander of the Ye Army was received by Zhu Huirong, deputy commander of the 52nd Division. Originally, Gu Zhutong felt that Rong Jiwu was "unreliable", and in order to prevent "accidents", he had transferred Rong Jiwu away.

After Zhu Huirong saw Commander Ye, he did not have any negotiations with him, but immediately detained him. Several guards, adjutants, and others of Commander Ye were detained.

The next day, Chiang Kai-shek and Gu Zhutong sent people to take Commander Ye away.

Seeing that Commander Ye had no return, Rao Shiquan knew that it was not good, and immediately organized personnel to break through, and during the battle, he was captured by the enemy army.

After his arrest, because Rao Shiquan was dressed plainly, the enemy company commander regarded him as an ordinary soldier of the New Fourth Army. Later, Rao Shiquan falsely claimed to be a food manager and used money to "dot" the enemy company commander. So the enemy company commander let him go.

After being detained by Chiang Kai-shek, Ye Junchang was imprisoned for five years. On March 4, 1946, he was freed.

On April 8, 1946, Ye Junchang flew back to Yan'an by plane, and the plane crashed near Heicha Mountain in Xingxian County, and he was unfortunately killed.
