When the Anhui Incident broke through, General Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting off his daughter and fostering him to the peasant family

When the Southern Anhui Incident broke through, Admiral Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting love and fostering his daughter to the peasant family, what happened later?

General Fu Qiutao was a remarkable legend among the more than 1,000 founding generals: he was elected chairman of the township peasant workers' committee at the age of 18, became the political commissar of the Red Guard Regiment of the Red Army at the age of 23, and became the director of the Political Department of the Xianggan Military Region at the age of 26; after the Long March of the Central Red Army, he led the troops to persist in carrying out guerrilla warfare in the revolutionary base areas of Xiang'egan, preserving a red armed force of more than a thousand people for the party.

More well-known is that he led the first column of the New Fourth Army to successfully break through during the "Anhui Southern Incident", and was also the only formed unit that successfully broke through.

But what is less known is that during this period, in order to ensure the success of the breakthrough, he had to endure the pain of cutting love and fostering his 4-year-old daughter in a farmer's house, so did he find his daughter later?

When the Anhui Incident broke through, General Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting off his daughter and fostering him to the peasant family

On January 6, 1941, when the headquarters of the New Fourth Army and more than 9,000 troops led by the new Fourth Army and the southern Anhui troops led by the north arrived in the Maolin area of Jing County, they were suddenly ambushed by 80,000 troops from 7 divisions of the Kuomintang.

Under this ever-changing situation, the military headquarters convened an emergency meeting of the heads of various columns in Pan Village on the afternoon of the same day and made a decision:

At dusk, the action began, with a column of Fu Qiutao and political commissar leading all the new and old regiments out of the ridge;

Four battalions of the new and old third regiments of the second column came out of Pi Ridge, and two battalions came out of Bo Dao Ridge;

The army special task regiment of the third column went out of Gaoling, and the fifth regiment was the rear guard of the whole army, and marched with the second column.

When the first column occupied Qiuling Ridge, just after crossing the small river at the mouth of the pit, the follow-up troops were ambushed and scattered by the enemy, and because they were alone and helpless, they suffered heavy losses.

Under the leadership of Fu Qiutao, the soldiers were not afraid of sacrifice, their morale was high, and they also insisted on fighting tenaciously, continuously repelling the enemy's attacks again and again.

When the Anhui Incident broke through, General Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting off his daughter and fostering him to the peasant family

At about 9:00 p.m. on the 9th, due to the enemy's outnumber and lack of ammunition and food, the troops were forced to disperse and break through, some of the fighters retreated to the east of Liushan Mountain, fu Qiutao led his troops to force a breakthrough to the southeast, after several days of bloody fighting, Fu Qiutao moved to Yongxi Xikeng (yongxi village in Huangtian Township, Jing County) via Taoling on the 15th, at that time only more than a hundred cadres and soldiers were left, and the troops were also very tired.

Under the cover of local party organizations, they rested on the spot for three days and then moved to a small stone pit, but were surrounded by the enemy 52nd and 144th divisions that searched the mountain.

On the morning of the 20th, fierce fighting broke out between the two sides, and in the case of a huge disparity in strength between the enemy and us, they had to disperse again to break through.

At this time, Comrade Fu Qiutao only had more than 30 cadres and soldiers left around him.

In order to protect the safety of the leaders and comrades, Deng and Yang, with a wave of their hands, jumped up and broke through to the Jingde side in two ways, while Fu Qiutao and some of the soldiers failed to break out of the encirclement, so they had to quickly move to the large stone cave of the turtle dun stone pit and hide.

After the enemy "cleared and suppressed" until dark and retreated down the mountain, Comrade Zhu Pinshan, the underground party organization of Yongxi, immediately transferred them to comrade Xiao Rongsheng's house in the house foundation pit.

When the Anhui Incident broke through, General Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting off his daughter and fostering him to the peasant family

Fu Qiutao did not stand out of the siege because he was still carrying a 4-year-old daughter with him, called Little Sister Yi, and it was inconvenient for him to fight for this reason.

For the sake of the revolutionary cause, after repeated consideration, he endured the pain of cutting love, and with the help of the local party organization, he fostered his daughter in the home of Comrade Xiao Donglin in Taoling Gangiri, and continued to go on his journey.

Later, we all know that Fu Qiutao led the fighters to break through smoothly and saved a red armed force of more than a thousand people for the party.

So after the war, did Fu Qiutao find his daughter?

When the Anhui Incident broke through, General Fu Qiutao endured the pain of cutting off his daughter and fostering him to the peasant family

When the Kuomintang carried out the clearance of the countryside, carried out the "five-family company environmental protection", and continued to track down the diaspora of the New Fourth Army, our underground party organization transferred the little sister to a peasant family in Xuancheng County's red poplar tree to raise in order to ensure the safety and growth of the revolutionary descendants.

In 1944, when Comrade Lü Hui was carrying out guerrilla warfare in the border area of Jingxuan County, he learned of this matter and sent Comrade Feng Hezhong, a guard, to the poplar tree to take Fu Xiaomei to Yongxi Pit and foster her in Comrade Hu Zonglai's home.

It was not until after liberation, after many inquiries at the care of party organizations at all levels, that Fu Xiaomei finally returned to her long-lost biological father, when Fu Xiaomei was already 13 years old.

Mr. and Mrs. Fu Qiutao were very happy, and they did not expect that their daughter, who had lost for many years, had grown up and returned. Fu Qiutao said with emotion: "Change your name, call Fu Huan, the people of southern Anhui not only raised my daughter, but also sent it back. ”

Later, Fu Xiaomei wrote from Beijing many times, telling the villagers who raised her in Yongxi: "Thank you for raising me, I will not fail to live up to the expectations of the people in the old areas, and I will take over the revolutionary class." After I returned to my parents, I went to school and studied, and later joined the work after graduating from the military academy. ”

The people of the old district were all insatiably happy to hear this.
