Bai Junshi, Manchu, character Chengrun, also known as Bai Li, born in 1908, Liaoning Xiuyan people. He served as the commander-in-chief of the Chinese Young Predator Army and the commander of the Third Route Army. He was captured in January 1939 and killed by the Japanese in the same year at the age of 31.

In the vigorous anti-Japanese struggle of the Northeast Volunteer Army, many heroic, tenacious, and iron-boned anti-Japanese generals emerged, and Bai Junshi was one of the generals who was born out of nowhere. He was well-known and influential, and was the leader of the volunteer army in southern Liaoning who persisted in the anti-Japanese struggle for the longest time.

In 1932, Bai Junshi joined the Northeast People's Self-Defense Army led by Deng Tiemei. In April 1936, he was elected commander-in-chief of the "Chinese Young Iron-Blooded Army" and commander of the Third Route Army. Under his command, this heroic anti-Japanese "iron-blooded army" had inflicted heavy blows on the Japanese Kou many times, and was regarded as a problem by the Japanese army.

As the Japanese army stepped up its "pursuit and suppression," the situation of struggle became increasingly grim. In the winter of 1938, Bai Junshi led his troops to fight the Japanese army at the Xiuyan Erdaoyang River and suffered heavy damage. There are only about 20 people left.

In January 1939, the cave of Li Yuanzi (in present-day Whistle River Township), where Bai Junshi was hiding, was discovered, and the Japanese puppet army led by the Japanese Da Yufang, the chief of the special service unit of the Pseudo Xiuyan Police Department, surrounded the cave, and Bai Junshi aimed at the Japanese troops at the entrance of the cave and shot fiercely, killing Da Yufang.

Bai Junshi led his troops to kill a bloody road and break through the siege. However, due to the huge disparity in strength between the enemy and ourselves. The situation was critical, and Bai Junshi decided to lead the rest of the scattered movement. In Baiqi Township, he was unfortunately arrested.

In the Prison of the Windy City, the enemy was both soft and hard, first using the high-ranking official Houlu to induce Bai Junshi to surrender, and after being sternly refused, he used all kinds of torture in an attempt to force him to submit. But Bai Junshi ning died. Denouncing the atrocities of the enemy, he said:

"I live a day as a Chinese, and as a ghost slave for a day!"

In March 1939, on a snowy night. The Japanese military police escorted Bai Junshi from Fengcheng Prison to Baijialing at the foot of Erlong Mountain. Tie him to a stake, and a Japanese shosa advised:

"Commander Bai, you understand your situation today. If you promise to surrender to Great Japan, we can not kill you, you should think about it..."

Bai Junshi categorically refused. In the last moments of his life, he was awe-struck by righteousness and regarded death as a homecoming. Denouncing the Japanese invaders:

"I am a dignified Chinese, how can I descend on you little Japan, and if you want to kill, you will be cut down!"

In order to prevent him from continuing to expose the atrocities of the aggressors, he propagated the anti-Japanese ideas. The brutal Japanese raised their knives and cut off his tongue, his ears and nose, and his arms.

In the end, the heartbroken Japanese army executed him with the most brutal and barbaric capital punishment. A generation of heroes, tragically died under the torture of the sun.
