Feng Yiyin, a painter and translator, was born in May 1929 in Shimen Town, Zhejiang Province (now part of Tongxiang City), Chongde County, Shimen Bay (now Shimen Town, Tongxiang City). His father was the famous painter Feng Zikai. He is a librarian of Shanghai Municipal Research Museum of Literature and History, an advisor of Feng Zikai Research Association, and a member of Shanghai Translators Association.
Feng Yiyin is the younger daughter of Mr. Feng Zikai. Mr. Zi Kai has three sons and four daughters, the eldest son Feng Huazhan, the second son Feng Yuancao, the youngest son Feng Xinmei, the eldest daughter Feng Chen Bao, the second daughter Feng Yuanyin, the young daughter Feng Yiyin, and the adopted daughter Feng Ningxin (nicknamed Soft soft, Feng Zikai's third sister Feng Feng's daughter, who grew up in Feng's family since childhood). Feng Yiyin is an expert in Feng Zikai's research and a descendant of Feng Zikai's paintings, in fact, she is also an accomplished writer and translator, and she has translated and written many books in her lifetime. After becoming a celebrity, she spent the rest of her life studying and passing on Feng Zikai's art. Feng Yiyin co-edited the art volume of "Feng Zi Kai Anthology", and in 1992 published the literary volume of Feng Chen Bao and Feng Yi Yin. In October 1998, feng Yiyin's book "Dashing Wind God - My Father Feng Zikai" was published by East China Normal University Publishing House. In February 1992, Feng Chen Bao (feng zikai's eldest daughter) and Feng Yiyin co-edited the complete collection of feng zikai comics by Jinghua Publishing House. From 1999 to 2001, Hua Normal University Publishing House published Feng Chen Bao and Feng Yiyin to co-write 400 cartoon explanatory essays by his father, "Daddy's Painting".

2015 coincided with the fortieth anniversary of Feng Zikai's death. Feng Yiyin once came to Zhejiang from Shanghai and returned to his hometown of Tongxiang to visit the tomb and worship his father. Returning from Tongxiang, she took a detour to Hangzhou to find her father's footprints by the West Lake.
In 1914, Feng Zikai went from Tongxiang to Hangzhou to study, and after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he fled with his family to Chongqing. In 1946, Feng Zikai returned to his second hometown of Hangzhou, Huangqin Lane, Mashi Street, Tianjiayuan, many places he lived, in 1948 also lived by the West Lake for a period of time, that is also his favorite place, when only seventeen or eighteen years old Feng Yiyin also left a lot of memories of lakeside life, about these memories she wrote in her book.

When passing the old site of the Zhaoxian Temple, Feng Yiyin stood still and pointed forward firmly: "Just on this side, on the right side of the south side of the slope, there were four trees there at that time, which is my home." ”
In the old Zhaoxian Temple, on Jingjiang Road (now Beishan Street) on the side of Lixi Lake, a small bend was made on the side of the road, and there was a ruin at the bend, surrounded by a circle of walls, and people at that time called this place "Great Auditorium". "After the great hall, there is No. 85 Jingjiang Road, there is a low bungalow, the room is full of mud, very simple. Fortunately, the house is high and not wet, and we have to walk up five or six steps to step through the door. Feng Yiyin, who always said that he had a bad memory, recalled his "home" in Hangzhou when he was young, and every bit was still in front of him.
But the old site of the "Lakeside Cottage" is no longer there, and although Feng Yiyin can accurately describe the location coordinates, although he has to walk around every year, the life scenes of that year can only be filtered in the mind, year after year, becoming the most ingrained part of the memory.

Feng Yiyin repeated this verse: "When my family opened the door, I could see the lonely mountain on the other side and the crane pavilion under the mountain, and my father hung this couplet on the door." He later wrote to a friend, saying, 'After traveling all over China, I think it is best to live in Hangzhou...' At that time, many friends came to visit my house, and Ma Yifu also lived next door, just like we were in Tonglu when we fled. In Hangzhou, Feng Zikai met many people who influenced his worldview and artistic outlook, including Master Hongyi Li Shutong and Ma Yifu.

"When I was 9 years old, we fled from Shimen Bay in Tongxiang along the canal to Gongchen Bridge in Hangzhou, and then from Hangzhou to Tonglu by boat, a family of more than ten people, no land, temporarily lived in The Ma Yifu family in Tonglu." Feng Yiyin recalled the past of his childhood, and even the details were clearly remembered, "Such a small boat, two pointed, a bit like Shaoxing's black canopy boat." Take the boat to escape, the boat can cook rice, but there is no dish, only to use the baked green beans hidden in the pillow to soak soy sauce under the rice, but also eat very fragrant, and then do not flee, I also like to eat this way. With that, she giggled.
Feng Yiyin liked one of his father's paintings, "Fall Down, and Sit Down", "This was done by dad during the escape." When others fled and fell, they were eager to get up and rush forward immediately, and they regretted dying. He's not. Anyway, I fell, so I just sat on the ground and had a good rest. He has always taught us to be optimistic and content to live happily ever after.
