For example, there is an honest and generous crown prince Zhu Biao, a benevolent and loving grandson Zhu Yunjiao, and a son Zhu Di who usurped the throne of his nephew.
In contrast, Zhu Yuanzhang's daughters lived a relatively low-key life. Compared with their peers, the arrogance is inferior to the Taiping Princess of the Tang Dynasty, the miserable is not as good as the Song Dynasty's Maode Emperor Ji, and the shameless is even worse than the fourteen grids of Prince Su at the end of the Qing Dynasty.

In short, throughout the Ming Dynasty, there are few famous princesses, and most of them appear in the historical records with only three lines: XX years of birth, XX years of marriage, XX years of death. If the fate is not good, it will be the first to die before the next marriage.
However, the princess is a princess after all, even if she is low-key before she dies, she can still scare people hundreds of years after death.
For example, Zhu Yuanzhang's eighth princess Fuqing.
In 1998, the Nanjing Museum was preparing to develop several dormitory buildings in the southern suburb of Dengfushan, so it reached a cooperation agreement with the Jiangdong Real Estate Development Company. In June, the agreement was reached, and within a few days the real estate company was happily starting construction.
However, within a few days of construction, when it was only in the excavation stage of the foundation, there were major archaeological discoveries.
I believe that Xi'an's small partners are not unfamiliar with such a situation, there was once a paragraph that said such a thing: Why can't the Xi'an subway be opened for a long time? It is because ancient tombs are frequently excavated during the excavation process.
As the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, Nanjing, although not as much as Xi'an in the Thirteenth Dynasty, is also the former capital of the country, and it is not normal to dig out an ancient tomb?
However, after carbon-24 testing, coupled with the investigation of epitaphs and related historical materials, experts have come to a conclusion: the tomb belongs to the Ming Dynasty more than 600 years ago, and the owner of the tomb is a princess.
This princess was the eighth daughter of Zhu Yuanzhang, with the title of Fuqing, and her birth mother was Princess An Zheng.
The Nanjing Museum also did not expect that building a dormitory building by itself actually gave birth to an opportunity to add bricks and tiles to the collection: obviously it has avoided the possible range of the tomb of Princess Fuqing, and actually accidentally dug it, which is really grateful to Zhu Yuanzhang and their family for their unusual path.
Because the tomb of Princess Fuqing has tomb keepers, there are temples built in front of The Yongdao for them to live in, and there are also archways at the end of the Yongdao. When the dormitory area was first planned, it was centered on the archway, trying to avoid the possible range of the mausoleum, but I did not expect to avoid it.
It turns out that the "mountains are high and the waters are long" on the archway and the second half of the sentence - goodbye to the rivers and lakes.
Since it has been accidentally dug, of course, it can only be excavated protectively. So the real estate development company withdrew and replaced the archaeologists.
However, within a few days of the archaeological work, they encountered something that was less likely than building a dormitory building to dig up an ancient tomb: judging from the pots and pans in the tomb and the quilt covering on the coffin board, it seemed that the tomb of Princess Fuqing was inhabited by living people.
Is the work still to be returned to the real estate development company?
Or is princess Fuqing's tomb keeper too strict to be satisfied with guarding the periphery of the mausoleum, and to narrow the scope of protection to within a few steps of the princess's side?
The tomb keeper who lived in the temple was immediately called upon, and he also issued his own denial of the three consecutive: I am not! I didn't! Don't be fooled!
After a series of squatting points by archaeologists, several people living in the tomb were finally arrested and arrested, and several people finally revealed their identities: it was not the tomb keepers, but the homeless homeless people, as well as the migrant workers who went out to work.
Because there was no house or they were reluctant to live in the hotel outside, several of them came here invariably to live in the tomb of Princess Fuqing to seek a place to shelter from the wind and rain.
In the process of excavation, archaeologists have seen the elaborate architecture and fine materials of this large-scale princess tomb;
Even if the burial chamber has not seen sunlight for many years, it is only dark and not damp, and it is no wonder that the few people who have lived in it for a long time have no discomfort.
Eventually, with the cooperation of the government department, several people living in the princess's tomb were properly placed, and the archaeological work continued.
After careful excavation by the on-site staff, only a few bronzes and a gold button were finally found in the princess's tomb.
And in the process of cleaning, the staff also found several robbery holes of different ages, which shows that the princess tomb has been patronized by several groups of tomb robbers, and it is very likely that the funerary goods in the tomb have been taken away by those groups of tomb robbers.
However, there are also experts who disagree.
The best funerary items in ancient tombs are always inside the coffin, especially the corpses that are contained in the mouths and worn on their bodies must be their favorite or most precious things before they die.

Therefore, the hypothesis put forward by these experts is that the tomb of Princess Fuqing may have only built a grand mausoleum, and there are not many funerary items in it. The most powerful evidence is that the princess coffin is complete, and even the seam has not been smashed open.
As for whether it was Zhu Di who gave his sister a thin burial in order to show that he inherited his father's legacy, or whether the tomb robbers had no ability to pry open the princess's coffin, these naturally have experts to discuss.
Our focus is on Princess Fuqing.
According to the History of Ming, Zhu Yuanzhang was very fond of his eighth daughter. Not only because when she was born, Zhu Yuanzhang's three-way army had just destroyed the Northern Yuan regime, but also because Princess Fuqing herself.
Before Zhu Yuanzhang's death, he also left a testament that "the harem must not interfere in politics", but compared with the "just talk" of the concubines in the late Qing Dynasty, the concubines of the Ming Dynasty really did it.
There was even Empress Zhao, the original empress dowager of Zhu Gaozi, who obviously obeyed the government, the time, place, and people that were occupied by her, but she still obeyed the ancestral precepts and did not want to interfere in politics.
And Princess Fuqing grew up under the benevolence of Empress Ma, and she knew more about the book and the etiquette. She lives in the harem but can care about the world, and after marrying, she often leads by example to build a good church; she can rely on her own different eyes in Zhu Yuanzhang's eyes to mention her father from time to time but never exceeds the rules.
We all know that the "History of Ming" was revised by the Qing Dynasty, and it is not uncommon for the Ming Dynasty to praise and even not to say good things, and it can be praised by the Qing Dynasty ministers, which shows that Princess Fuqing is indeed quite famous.
If it weren't for coincidence, the tomb of Princess Fuqing wouldn't have been reopened 600 years later; but without this coincidence, this righteous princess might not have been as well known as it is now.
And her own tomb is used as a shelter by posterity, and I believe that this princess who knows the righteousness will be pleased.
