Li Chuanxin, a native of Linquan, Anhui, was born in 1946. In his early years, he followed the famous painter Mr. Ren Zhiying, and later received the guidance of Mr. Fan Zeng, Song Wenzhi, Bai Xueshi, Fang Zengxian, and Liu Wenxi, and benefited a lot. His works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times and won awards, and have been successfully auctioned in Beijing Poly, Hanhai and other auction houses. His works have been published in dozens of newspapers and periodicals such as "Fine Arts", and several painting collections such as "Poetic Jiangnan - Li Chuanxin Landscape Works" have been published. Many of his works have been published by Guangming Daily, China Youth Daily, Wen Wei Po, Tianjin Daily, Gansu Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, China Painting and Calligraphy Daily, etc.
In January 2013, he was invited to participate in the "Civilization of the Same Root: Chinese Ink Painting - Cross-Strait Writers and Artists Ink Danqing Exhibition" led by Mr. Shen Peng.
In March 2013, he was invited to New York to participate in the 35th International Art Fair.
In October 2013, he was invited to St. Petersburg, Russia to participate in the "Year of Sino-Russian Friendship: Invitation Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters in Russia".
In April 2014, he was invited to participate in the Chinese Pastoral Landscape Painting Exhibition and series of activities held in Haimen, Jiangsu Province.
In December 2020, he was invited to participate in the 25th International Art Fair held in Guangzhou.
"Poetic Jiangnan - Li Chuanxin Landscape Painting Touring Exhibition" has been exhibited at Qingdao Art Museum, Changzhou Liu Haisu Art Museum, Beijing Rongbaozhai, Hefei China-Japan Friendship Art Museum, and Shanghai Yunzhou Art Museum.
