Recently, with the "buzzing" current sound emitted by the transformer, the 35kV Gaiyang Change #1 main technical transformation project in Mingxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, which lasted for three and a half months, finally ushered in the end, which is also the first time that the young employees of the Operation and Maintenance Department of the State Grid Mingxi County Power Supply Company completed the technical transformation work of "independent operation and construction", marking the initial results of the company's "large team integration" three system reform pilots.

The 35kV Gaiyang Change is located in Gaiyang Town, Mingxi County, and the #1 main transformer has been out of operation since the overhaul in 2019, and only the #2 main transformer is facing Gaiyang Town to supply power. With the development of urban and rural economies, the existing Gaiyang has been unable to meet the demand for electricity for rural revitalization in the new era, and it is urgent to carry out comprehensive upgrading and transformation. In order to improve the comprehensive technical ability of young workers and cultivate and forge a group of young reserve forces who are "willing to work and learn", Mingxi Company changed the gaiyang technology into a pilot for the first time and used the way of "young employees carrying the banner" to carry out "independent operation and construction".

"In the past, most of such technical transformation projects were completed by experienced skilled workers or entrusted to external construction units, resulting in a lack of practical experience among young employees, and there were faults in technical inheritance and talent team construction, so we made full use of this technical reform opportunity to sharpen a knife for young workers." Lin Fojin, one of the persons in charge of the gaiyang transformation transformation, said.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the transformation work, the company combined with the integration pilot of the large team, set up a joint operation team of "substation maintenance + substation operation and maintenance", breaking the situation of only being controlled by the construction leader in the past, with three experienced seniors as the general commander, more than 20 young team members as the main force, through pre-operation standardized training, on-site practice during the operation, inviting experts from higher-level units to guide, etc., in the form of "master and apprentice", side by side, breaking through one difficulty after another. Assist young employees to successfully complete the first "operation".

"No matter how much theoretical knowledge I learn, it is better to actually operate it once, and I am honored to have such an opportunity." Chen Shengyong, a young employee who participated in the construction of the independent operation, said so. Although Chen Shengyong is a post-95, he has two years of practical experience, and he also served as the most important "main transformer power transmission" work before the put into operation of the Gaiyang change with excellent technology. It is understood that the average age of the squad is only 25 years old, 80% of the members are carrying out independent operations for the first time, and the technical reform site has become the best "training ground" for young workers.

Since the beginning of this year, in order to build a team of high-quality young talents, the State Grid Mingxi County Power Supply Company has adopted multiple channels to tailor young workers, and enhanced the learning initiative and enthusiasm of employees by regularly carrying out experience sharing meetings, organizing professional skills competitions, and formulating targeted training plans.
