Taiyuan: Wei Tao holds working talks with Chen Kai, Chairman of EY China, and Zhang Xinwei attended

On December 8, Wei Tao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Chen Kai, Chairman of EY China and CEO of Greater China, held working talks to exchange views on strengthening cooperation between the two sides. Zhang Xinwei, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, and Liu Junyi, member of the standing committee of the municipal party committee and executive vice mayor, attended the meeting.

On behalf of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, Wei Tao welcomed the arrival of Chen Kai and his entourage, congratulated EY on settling in Taiyuan, and introduced the economic and social development of Taiyuan. He said that Taiyuan is in a period of direct support from the national and provincial strategic layouts and policies, the construction of the central Shanxi urban agglomeration with Taiyuan as the core has risen to a national strategy, and Taiyuan has been listed as a key city for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin and high-quality development in the central region. The Twelfth Provincial Party Congress planned a new layout for the regional development of "a group of two districts and three circles", and Taiyuan undertook greater responsibilities and missions, especially the clear proposal to build Taiyuan national regional center city, and the strength of the whole province to support Taiyuan to build "four highlands", but also placed high hopes on the development of Taiyuan.
