On December 8, the provincial energy consumption dual control and carbon peak carbon neutrality work promotion conference was held in our city.

At the meeting, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission interpreted the latest policy requirements such as project management within the central budget, dual control of energy consumption, coal consumption reduction and provincial energy conservation review, introduced the construction of online energy consumption systems for key energy-using units, the promotion of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and arranged and deployed the next key work.

The meeting demanded that the development and reform commissions of all localities and cities should deeply understand the arduousness and complexity of the work of dual control of energy consumption and coal consumption reduction, improve their political positions, strengthen work measures, and ensure the completion of tasks. It is necessary to further improve the data quality of the energy consumption online system, strengthen the use of results, and boost the energy conservation benchmarking of key energy-using units, reduce costs and increase efficiency。 It is necessary to strictly implement the deployment of the national and provincial party committees and provincial governments on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, promote the development of green and low-carbon cycles, and ensure that the carbon peaking target is achieved on schedule.
