According to Di Marzio's official website, De Rossi will intern and serve in the Youth Team of the Italian National Team to continue his studies and pursue a UEFA Pro-level coaching license.
De Rossi will face new challenges after receiving UEFA's A-level coaching certificate, and if he wants to be head coach, his options now include youth teams, Serie A and below. However, De Rossi can choose to continue his studies and try to get a higher level of UEFA Pro level coaching license (Master per il patentino da allenatore UefaPro).
Before officially obtaining the license, De Rossi will need to undertake a one-year internship, which must be carried out within FIFA, and his internship may take place in the youth team of the Italian national team, where he will take on an operational role.
After receiving the license, De Rossi will be given the right to coach any team, thus officially starting his coaching career immediately.
