So King Escidor cursed them that they would never rest until they fulfilled their oath.
The Paths of the Dead is a ghost-infested trail through the White Mountains. Aragon is the gateway from Lohan to Gondor.
The northern entrance to the Path of the Dead stands rows of ancient stone statues leading to Dimholt. The black woods are scattered between Ellen Saga (iron sawtooth), Spike Mountain and Devi Moreg. In front of an open depression at the foot of the mountain, a boulder stands alone in the middle of the road. Deep in the valley stands a steep stone wall, on which the Door of Darkness opens. What followed was truly called the Path of the Dead, and the dark tunnels radiated the breath of fear. Endless whispers can be heard in the tunnels, a language that has never been heard before. After that, there was a wide road, an extremely empty place. In the cave is a human skeleton, wearing armor and a helmet made of gold. In front of the skeleton was a closed stone door, which he had obviously intended to pass through, but had failed; his finger bones were still clinging to the crevices of the stone; and beside him was a broken sword with a notched curling blade. After hearing the sound of the stream, a few steps ahead reach the southern exit, which is a steep downhill road that ends up like a crack in the Mesund Valley.
In 3320 A.D., the Kingdom of Gondor was established. There is still a black stone standing in Erech, which is said to have been brought by Ishirdu from Numenor. It is located on a hill where the king of the mountains swore allegiance to The Black Stone at the beginning of the kingdom of Gondor.

The mountain humans fled the angry Ishirdu and did not dare to fight for Sauron's side. They hid in the secret place of the mountains, and never interacted with others, but gradually declined in the wilderness. Thus, the horrors of the sleepless dead enveloped Mount Erech and all the places where the nation once wandered.
Baldo, the eldest son of King Lohan Brego, accompanied his father up the Snow River in search of war-torn refuge for the Lohirs. They eventually discovered the Black Barbarian Temple and walked to the door of the Path of the Dead. On the other hand, they were stopped by an elderly man who was very old:
"This road was built by those who are dead, and they are guarded by the dead until the time comes. This road is not open. ”
Baldo and Brego didn't step in the door. However, Baldo is obsessed with this mysterious path.
In 2569 AD, Prince Baldo of Rohan vowed to take the "Path of the Dead" in order to celebrate the completion of the "Golden Temple" Meduselde. But gone forever. His father, King Brego, died in mourning the following year.

On March 8, 3019, Aragon, Legolas, Jimley and the Grey Brigade took the "Path of the Dead" together. A few days earlier, Aragon had told his two companions that he had used the Olsank crystal to foresee a terrible catastrophe at Gondor. The Elrondetto reminded Aragon not to forget the path of the dead as the Prophet had said.
They crossed the ancient path of Dimholt to the dark gate of the entrance to the Road of the Dead, when everyone felt fearful, only the elven race of Legolas was not afraid of the ghosts of mortals. Despite his fears, Aragon led the way through the dark gates with a firm will, stepping into the path of the dead without hesitation. In the middle of the cave, they found Baldo's remains.
