Syllable! There was a loud bang, hail crashing against the window, waking me up from my sweet dream. I opened my eyes in a daze, and saw a foggy white outside the window, as if I had entered a polar world. It turned out to be caused by hail!
I quickly turned on my phone and checked the weather forecast, and sure enough, it showed hail tonight. That's bad news, I'm about to assemble a high-end console, and it would be bad if the parts were broken by hail.
But it doesn't matter, I've been preparing for this day for a long time. A few days ago, I received a top-of-the-line water-cooled radiator known as "Freezing Point Attack" - Kyushu Fengshen Ice Fortress 360 Digital Display Edition. Not only does it bring extreme cooling performance to CPUs and graphics cards, but it also prevents parts from freezing in extreme cold weather.
I couldn't wait to unpack the box, and inside was a huge water-cooled unit. It consists of a large 360mm radiator, three 12cm high-speed fans, water cooling lines and a pump head with a digital display. The overall shape is full of science and technology, like a product from the future world.
I followed the instructions and started installing this "Ice Fortress". Attach the radiator and fan to the top of the case, then connect the water cooling lines, and finally connect the pump head to the CPU water block. There are still a few minor troubles in this process, but for an experienced DIY player, it is not a big deal.

Once the installation was complete, I opened the side panels of the case and admired the beautiful construction inside. The Kyushu Fengshen Ice Fortress 360 Digital Display Edition occupies a large area of the upper half of the case, and three 12cm giant fans are slowly spinning, emitting a low humming sound. The water-cooling lines are winding and twisting, like a giant python entrenched in a case.
What attracted me the most was the pump head with the digital display. I pressed the power button, and it seemed to come to life, and the numbers on the screen began to scroll and change. 27℃、28℃…… It turns out that this is a real-time display of CPU temperature! I immediately became intrigued by it.
I opened the small window on the side of the case and reached inside. The pump head shell is a little hot, but it doesn't burn your hands. I continued to look at the display, and in addition to the CPU temperature, there was also a number on it that was constantly changing, probably the water temperature.
Suddenly, I noticed a strange number that kept switching between 0 and 100. I picked up the manual and looked at it, and it turned out to be a percentage display of the fan speed! It's really a personal little design, and you can control the working status of the radiator at any time.
I started to adjust the fan speed, first setting it to 20%, and the fan speed dropped significantly, and the noise was much less. I leaned my ear over and listened, and it was so silent! However, if it is running at full load, this speed may not be enough.
So I turned the fan up to 80% and the rattling sound immediately became louder, and I felt like there was a helicopter hovering overhead. However, for a high-end gaming console, this noise is perfectly acceptable.

After commissioning, I started to officially assemble the other parts of the console. It's loaded with the latest Intel Core i9 processor, an ASUS ROG gaming motherboard, 32GB of high-speed memory, a 2TB SSD, and a dreaded RTX 4090 graphics card.
This is a super high-configuration console, whether it is doing 3D rendering or playing 4K games, the heat dissipation requirements are very strict. I secretly rejoiced that I was fortunate to have bought this top-of-the-line water-cooled radiator from Kyushu Fengshen, otherwise, I am afraid that I would be completely crushed by the high temperature.
When everything was ready, I pressed the power button and the system booted up smoothly. I opened the CPU-Z and GPU-Z monitoring software and started to check the temperature changes.
In the idle state, the CPU temperature hovers in the 30s, and the GPU temperature is in the 40s, which is not a problem at all. I opened a CPU stress test program and let all the cores run at full load, and the temperature quickly soared to more than 70 degrees, but the Kyushu Fengshen Ice Fortress 360 digital display version is obviously not effortless, and the fan speed is automatically increased to 90% on the digital display of the pump head, and the water temperature is only slightly increased.
Next, I ran a GPU stress test and got the 4090, a little heat monster, to do the trick. Sure enough, the temperature skyrocketed, and the highest exceeded 85 degrees! However, the water cooling system is still working well, and the fan has reached its maximum speed and is making a deafening noise, but the temperature soon begins to drop and stabilize at around 80 degrees.
It seems that the Kyushu Fengshen Ice Fortress 360 digital display version has more than enough heat dissipation capacity for this high-end host. It claims to be able to withstand up to 300W of heat, which is a total margin of excess for my configuration.
