On the evening of August 22, bank of communications (601328.sh,03328.hk) issued an announcement that Wu Wei had submitted a written report to the bank's board of directors due to job transfer, resigned as an executive director, a member of the board's strategy committee (inclusive financial development committee), a member of the board's social responsibility and consumer rights protection committee, and a vice president and chief financial officer, with effect from August 22, 2019.

According to Hubei Daily, on August 16, Hubei Province and Shanxi Province signed an agreement in Wuhan to comprehensively strengthen regional coordination in the field of health and jointly build a regional medical center in Shanxi Province.
