During the Daoguang years of the Qing Dynasty, Jiangsu Inspector Tao Shu commemorated Gui Youguang, and wrote a book to set up Zhenchuan Academy in the place where Gui Youguang once lectured, which evolved into Zhenchuan Middle School after years of change, Zhenchuan Middle School was once renamed Anting Middle School, and in recent years it has been renamed Zhenchuan Middle School, which can also be regarded as respecting history.

Gui Youguang had already become famous in his youth, but after zhongju failed eight consecutive exams, he also experienced the pain of losing his son and wife during this period. Gui Youguang was sent to Changxing County, which is now Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and was considered a poor county in a remote area at that time. At present, the Changxing County Museum still preserves the "Sacred Well Inscription and Narrative" written by Gui Youguang, written by Wu Cheng'en, the county clerk at that time, and carved into a stone stele.
He was only a prefectural commander for three years, during which he actively opened schools and promoted his juniors. In addition, the backlog of unjust and wrongful cases at that time was tried, and it is recorded that hundreds of ordinary people who were wronged were released. Moreover, he also actively punished the county officials who were the culprits at that time, and it was precisely because he rectified the bureaucracy and offended the local magnates, so his county orders were only done for three years. Later, Gui Youguang was transferred to Shunde Province (present-day Xingtai, Hebei) to administer Ma Zheng, a position that was also done by his old partner Wu Cheng'en's Sun Wukong, and it is not known whether Mr. Wu was inspired by this. Gui Youguang used his time in charge of Ma Zheng to compile materials to write a "History of Ma Zheng", which was included in the "History of Ming".
The time of returning to Youguang as an official is not long, but it still realizes the belief that the traditional scholars and doctors follow the principle of serving as an official and benefiting one party. Gui Youguang's greatest achievement is his literary achievements, and his prose can be compared with the Tang and Song Dynasties.
