Zhao Yiman, a native of Yibin County, Sichuan, joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 21 and graduated from the sixth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. After the 918 incident, the party organization sent her to the northeast to carry out the war of resistance, she had to leave her infant son still in her infancy, in November 1935, in a battle with the Japanese army, the bullet broke her left leg bone, fainted in the snow and was captured, Zhao Yiman from arrest to the execution site, after a full nine months, the brutal Japanese army in order to get useful information from her mouth, exhausted all kinds of torture, but Zhao Yiman did not say anything, the Japanese army did not even know her real name is Li Kuntai, She forcibly endured the severe pain left by torture and wrote two suicide notes to the same person, in which she wrote: Ning Er: It is a pity that your mother did not fulfill your educational responsibility, because she resolutely did the anti-Japanese struggle. Today is the eve of sacrifice. Mother and you before you were born. There will never be a chance to see you again. I hope you hurry up as an adult to comfort your underground mother, my dearest child. Mother does not need a thousand words to educate, just use practice to educate you, after you grow up, I hope not to forget that your mother sacrificed for the country. August 2, 1936. Ning Er in the letter is Zhao Yiman's seven-year-old son. Just a few hours after Zhao Yiman wrote this suicide note, she wrote another suicide note to Ning Er. And the content is a little strange, the mother went to the northeast to find a career, today's unfortunate final who can know? The death of the mother is not a pity, the pity is my child. In fact, Zhao Yiman's husband was not in the northeast at that time. The reason why she wrote this way is the same as her pseudonym Zhao Yiman, it is likely to confuse the enemy's public opinion, because the real name is not revealed. After Zhao Yiman's sacrifice, his son did not get this suicide note, until 22 years later, the staff of the former Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army Organization Department went to Zhao Yiman's hometown of Yibin, Sichuan Province, to verify the identity of the martyrs, and Ning Er knew the identity of his mother for the first time. At the Martyrs' Memorial Hall, I copied with a pen the suicide note written to my mother in the archives of the Japanese army. After copying, he used a fountain pen to stab Zhao Yiman three words in his hand. These three words not only remained in Ning Er's hands, but also in the hearts of all the Chinese people.
