The major revolutionary and historical film "Young Ye Jianying" premiered in Beijing on August 1, and was attended by Marshal Ye Jianying's daughter, famous director Ye Xiangzhen and many descendants of revolutionaries, as well as Zhang Pimin, chairman of the China Film Foundation, Zhou Jiandong, vice chairman of the China Film Producers Association, and representatives of the staff around Marshal Ye Jianying. Ye Xiangzhen believes that the film more realistically shows a period of revolutionary history of Ye Shuai from his youth to his youth.
The film "Young Ye Jianying" is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Ningxia Autonomous Region of the Communist Party of China, the Propaganda Department of the Meizhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Propaganda Department of the Meizhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and is jointly produced by yunnan national film studio, Guangdong Quankunde Investment Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Hongyi Culture and Media Development Company, and is included in the "Recommended Film Party Class Activity Recommended Film in Yunnan Province" jointly deployed by the Organization Department of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee in 2021.
"Young Ye Jianying" is written by Comrade Ye Xiangzhen as the general adviser, Ding Jiaqi, a researcher of the Academy of Military Sciences of the People's Liberation Army and the leader of the writing team of "The Biography of Ye Jianying" in the Chinese, Zhang Jinbiao, Wang Chaomin, Li Huan as Ye Jianying, Liu Jin as Zhou Enlai, Zhang Tianqi, Zhou Zhong, Xu Ruiyang, Chu Fengming, and Huang Wei also play important roles.
The film takes Marshal Ye Jianying's ups and downs from youth to youth as the main line, telling the story of Ye Yiwei (Ye Jianying), a young student who pursued progress in Meixian County, Guangdong Province, in the last years of the Qing Dynasty, under the influence of the members of the League, under the guidance of the goal of "nationality, civil rights, and people's livelihood", leading his classmates to resist the bully warlords, applying for the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall, gradually embarking on the revolutionary road, and finally following the Communist Party of China, casting revolutionary ideals and beliefs. It vividly expresses Marshal Ye Jianying's youth aspirations, life choices, and feelings of home and country, recreates a real history, and also shows the revolutionary spirit of tens of millions of young people in that era who, like Ye Jianying, have the same heart for the country and the future of the nation to constantly throw themselves into the cause of national liberation and struggle for it.
Wang Xiaojian, vice president of the Eighth Route Army Research Association, said at the premiere ceremony that the film "Young Ye Jianying" truly reproduced Marshal Ye Jianying's firm belief and revolutionary spirit in pursuing revolutionary truth and embarking on the revolutionary road in his youth, and has a positive educational significance for the vast number of young people in contemporary times to strengthen their ideals and convictions.
