In costume court dramas, we usually find a phenomenon that those ministers who are officials in the court will be very careful and cautious no matter what they do. I was afraid that if something was not done correctly, it would cause the emperor's displeasure and thus implicate the whole family. Therefore, they will pay attention to the occasion when they speak, and they will also be measured, and they will not say excessive or extreme words.

They would not have confronted other ministers in person, but historically, Zuo Zongtang, a minister of the Qing Dynasty, once reprimanded the Erpin general soldiers on the spot to "get out", and later caused the disaster of killing themselves. Zuo Zongtang was known as the "Four Famous Ministers of the Qing Dynasty", born on November 10, 1812 in Xiangyin, Hunan, he was young and intelligent, and his family loved him very much.
When I grew up, I took the township exam in the year I was 20 years old. However, he experienced many failures in the examination and has not been related to the officialdom. Fortunately, in 1836, he met Tao Shu, the governor of Liangjiang, from the Shujiang Academy, and was convenient to let his only son be engaged to Zuo Zongtang's eldest daughter, so that he could use his spare time to take care of the affairs of the Tao family, have the opportunity to study agriculture, read the Tao family's collection, and studied the coping methods of the Opium War, and put forward the idea of "building more fire ships and gunboats".
In 1854, Zuo Zongtang received an invitation from Luo Bingzhang, the new governor of Huguang, to become his inspector shogunate and give advice to the other side. Strike at the rising Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. In fact, because of his ability and daily responsibility, he already belonged to the scope of Huguang Patrol. Zuo Zongtang was loyal to the Qing Dynasty, and after launching the activities of "Four Realms of Inner Qing" and "Five Provinces of Foreign Aid", the situation in the Qing Dynasty slowly became better.
However, in the process, he almost lost his life. In 1859, Fan Xie, the lingling commander of the imperial court Erpin, was transferred to Sichuan to take up a post, and before leaving, he specially came to the Governor's Mansion to say goodbye. In the face of Zuo Zongtang and Luo Bingzhang, he only greeted Luo Bingzhang with a salute, completely ignoring Zuo Zongtang as air.
Zuo Zongtang was very angry when he saw this, so he asked Fan Xie to salute him, but the other party said, "Is it customary for a warrior to worship the master?" I am also the second product of the imperial court. This means that Zuo Zongtang is just a master, and he is a hally Erpin official, of course, there is no need to greet him. After Zuo Zongtang listened, he immediately asked Fan Xie to "get out.".
From here, it can also be seen that he is very angry, but he still can't do anything with Fan Xie, after all, people are not wrong. Jean Ke did not expect that this incident not only did not pass, but the two actually found each other's handles. After Zuo Zongtang sent someone to investigate Fan Xie, he found that the military attaché was corrupt and corrupt, withheld grain and paid, and enriched himself. Immediately, he wrote these crimes and his own ideas into a recital, and after Luo Bingzhang's consent, he folded the recital to the imperial court.
Later, Fan Xie was escorted to Changsha, but he had relatives Guan Wen to help him, and also participated in Zuo Zongtang's book, and Guan Wen then joined the Hunan envoy Wen Ge to set off the "Fan Xie Jing Prosecution Case". Some ministers believed that Zuo Zongtang had falsely accused the officers and had originally been executed, but the emperor did not take his life for the sake of his merits in fighting against the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
