About Chen Yuanguang
Chen Yuanguang (6157-711 AD), courtesy name Tingju, was a native of Gwangju (present-day Huangchuan, Henan), the son of the Tang Dynasty general Chen Zheng, who wrote his own book of soldiers, and after his father's death, he succeeded his father and was appointed as the general of Yingyang. In the second year of Tang Dynasty (686 AD), he was allowed to establish the county rule of Zhangzhou between Quan and Chao, and served as an assassin for 26 years. Chen Yuanguang implemented the policy of "trade and favoring workers" in Zhangzhou, disseminated the culture and technology of the Central Plains, strictly enforced the rule of law, attached importance to reclamation, built water conservancy projects, established schools, and strictly practiced the legal system, so that the people's customs were transformed and the economy and culture were developed, and outstanding contributions were made to promoting the development of Zhangzhou and the integration of nationalities.

Introduction to Chen Yuanguang's tomb
In 711, Chen Yuanguang died in battle, was revered as the "Holy King of Kaizhang", and was first buried in Zhangpu, and later moved to Shigu Mountain, Punan, 15 kilometers away from Zhangzhou City.
Chen Yuanguang Cemetery in Punan Town, Yuankeng Village, Shigu Mountain (Stone Dog Mountain), the tomb is surrounded by a dense forest, the tomb sits north to south, the tombstone is high tomb head, the inscription "Tang Kaizhang Chen General Tomb", there are stone cases under the tombstone, for worship, the grave pile on both sides and behind the stone retaining soil, circle lane protection. The tomb is open and well-organized, extending forward into a three-level platform. On both sides of the tomb road, there are two pairs of limousines, kuramas, stone sheep, stone lions and stone pillars.

The car drives on the quiet cement road, all the way to the forest fragrant mountain green, the air is filled with the fragrance of the forest, there are few pedestrians on the road, the slope is green and green, and the mountain birds are flying, making you feel like you have entered a world of greenery. Longan and lychee trees are thriving, blooming bunches of beige flowers, and swarms of bees buzzing among the flowers.

Chen Yuanguang's mausoleum has not been further repaired, and it is still the same impression as before. Now that I am in the cemetery, surrounded by tranquility, a solemn atmosphere lingers around, and the reverence that once lingered in my heart is clearer and purer.

A wide platform, two pillars towering on the side of the Huabiao, the Tang Dynasty's stone sheep, stone lions and modern stone horses, Weng Zhong together guard Chen Yuanguang's tomb, the tombstone inscription "Tang Kaizhang Chen General Tomb". Standing on the platform, looking out, the stone steps, the tomb passage and the burial chamber are arranged on a central axis in turn, imposing and majestic.

Gazing at the tombstone, Chen Yuanguang was majestic, and the heroic image of the storm seemed to be in front of him. Time travels back more than 1,300 years, in 669 AD, the spring tide was "barbaric and chaotic", and the residents suffered. The Guide general Chen Zheng led 3,600 soldiers from the Central Plains south. At that time, Chen Yuanguang was only 13 years old, and at the age of the weak crown, he followed his father to the area where Qimin and Baiyue bordered to suppress the rebellion and "howling chaos", which was indeed a hero from ancient times! General Chen Zheng spent nine years in Min, cut through thorns and thorns, and his ambition was not rewarded, but he accumulated labor and became ill, and he died of illness in the clouds and fire fields. After Chen Yuanguang buried his father with tears, the son took over his father's duties and shouldered a heavy responsibility.

Chen Yuanguang served as the general of Zuolang, leading thousands of troops and horses to quell the rebellion of "barbarians and howling chaos", he galloped on the battlefield, fought bravely and goodly, and completely quelled the barbaric chaos. Looking back at history, looking around, tall poplar trees stand majestically, just like General Chen was wearing armor, holding his head high, and his heroic posture was refreshing.

Gazing at the tombstone, chen Yuanguang had a far-sighted vision in governing Zhangzhou. The Chen general Wen Taowu was slightly heroic, and ruled Zhangzhou with wisdom and courage. He immediately commanded the army, was brave and good at war, and ruled the people under his horse and governed well. He pursued the policy of "Jingkou suffers from the heat and famine, and the emperor is benevolent to the absolute domain".

In order to ensure long-term peace and stability in the southern Fujian region, he wrote to the imperial court, "Please build a state with the spring tide to resist the table." The imperial court approved the establishment of a seat of government on the banks of the Zhangjiang River at the Yunxiaotun camp, taking the name of Zhangzhou, and appointed Chen Yuanguang as the assassin. After that, Chen Yuanguang formulated a series of policies for educating and governing the people, promoting culture, implementing the rule of law, and changing the people's customs: building forts in Tuntian and building water conservancy projects; running academies and re-educating people; re-educating peasants; and promoting trade and benefiting workers, bringing to Zhangzhou the advanced concept of political and economic reform. At the same time, it has developed handicraft industries such as pottery and metallurgy, which has promoted the continuous development of Zhangzhou.

General Chen Botong, through Shi Taoluo, in addition to government affairs, advocated poetry and wrote many poems, of which fifty-three are extant. He once wrote his own book of soldiers, including "Longhu Collection", "Jade Collection", "Art of War Shooting Technique" and so on. Quan Tang Poems also contains three of his poems. A breeze struck, and the raspberries and mulberries on both sides of the stone steps swayed frequently, and at this moment, I could not help but chant General Chen's "Xiaofa Fotan Bridge": "Chaotun urges the road, and the rabbit wants to sink to the west." Go to the geese long empty, flying flowers winding deep. The car followed the bridge tree, and the poem fell on the seagulls. The horse mane hissed, and the dragon flag lightning came. Feng saved the cactus skillfully, and Lu Zhong would be the yin of the robe. The farmer summons the ploughing early in the spring, and the monk greets the worshipper. Look at Aoi Rili, shining through the heart of the sun. ”

The stone steps are lined with tall poplars, evergreen pine trees, lush phoenix trees and acacia trees. There are also stone beasts standing next to the mausoleum Yongdao with different looks, mighty and majestic, appearing to be quiet and peaceful, solemn and solemn, and the wisps of nostalgia through the millennium linger in the heart for a long time.
