It is clearly recorded in the Chronicles of Gwangju that Chen Yuanguang - (Son) Jue - (Sun) Zhen - (Great-grandson) 詠 - (Great-grandson) Zhang Fu - (36th Grandson) Ye, except for Chen Yuanguang Zijue who avenged his father in Zhangzhou and presided over the indoctrination of Songzhou Academy, did not see contact with his hometown of "Gwangju", and several others frequently traveled between Gwangju and Zhangzhou.

Volume VIII of Shunzhi's Gwangju Chronicle, "Election Examination and Recommendation", records: "Tang Tianbaochu, Chen Yan, Gwangju people, Zuyuan Guanggong, Shishou Zhangzhou, Ju Min, Ju Xiucai, Zhichen Prefecture Ningyuan Order, see Li Linfu handle the country, fu retreat to Guangguang." Shunzhi's Gwangju Chronicle, volume VII, "Official Rank Kao Eunuch" records: "Tang Chen, Zhengya, Minren ... "Chen Zhangfu, the word Shangguan, the word." Guangxu's "Gwangju Chronicle" Volume III, "Election History, County General" chapter records: "Tang Chenxuan, the official Honshu regiment training envoy. Chen Zhangfu (陈章甫), an envoy of the Guanben Prefecture Regiment. ”

These records clearly point out, "Chen Zhen, the official Honshu regimental training envoy." Chen Zhangfu (陳章甫), the official Ofe-honju regimental envoy", and at the same time Chen Shu died in Gwangju ("Yuan He 12th year, 詠卒, Fu Coffin Returned to Zhangzhang"), and Chen Zhangfu settled in Gwangju ("The four brothers were all in Zhang, and the Gong lived in Fuguangyan"). It is also recorded in the Xiazhang Chen Clan that "(Chen Zhen) guarded the Dragon Gate of Longyan and ordered his eldest son Zhang Fuxing to live in the old first place of Gwangju. This account is in contrast to the records in our three Gwangju Chronicles. What is even more worth pointing out is: "(Chen Zhen) ordered the eldest son Zhang Fuxing to live in the old first place of Gwangju." Chen Xuan named the eldest son "Chen Zhangfu", and the word "Zhangfu" was exactly next to the word "Zhangpu" that the Chen family had removed from the water character in the Shushou area of Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, and it can be guessed that it meant: let his son return to his hometown away from the seaside "Zhangpu", but do not forget the new hometown "Zhangpu". Chen Zhangfu is the eldest son of Chen Xuan, the eldest son stays in his hometown, and his four younger brothers are outside, which is also a consistent practice in ancient China and even modern times - "the eldest son does not leave the church". (An ancient custom, it can also be regarded as the legacy of traditional hierarchy, monarchy, and thought, under normal circumstances, the eldest son of a family is generally to set up a door and undertake the task of worshipping ancestors.) Therefore, it is generally not allowed to stay away from the ancestral homeland. Take precedence in the process of the brothers' separation of the family, and set an example in everything, leading the brothers in the clan to the lintel. )

Nearly nine hundred years later, Chen Yuanguang's thirty-sixth grandson, Ming Wanli Bingzi, Zhiguang Prefecture affairs, Minlongxi Xiao Jie Chen Ye, once again connected his hometown of Gwangju with Fujian. Chen Ye wrote the preface to the Gwangju Chronicle of the Ming Dynasty. This edition of the Gwangju Chronicle has long been abandoned, leaving only some articles such as the old chronicle to be included in the later sequel of the Gwangju Chronicle. Chen Ye prefaced: "Ye Zhi's ancestor Yuanguang, Guangren also, Tang Shi accompanied his father to lead the army to Kill Min, because of the family. Now that the shou is a state, it is regarded as the sons and daughters of the men and wives of the state, and all the people of their townspeople are also people. The same article also said: "Ye Cheng lacks Gwangju." Guang is the juju prefecture of Runan, which belongs to Yi SI... The next year, fu de gu shi old mr. Ge Gongchen compiled the "ZhiLuo". It can be seen that Chen Yuanguang's thirty-sixth grandson, Chen Ye, did not refer to Gushi as Gwangju. Here, Chen Ye also clearly and unmistakably pointed out that his hometown is "Gwangju".

Shunzhi's Gwangju Chronicle, volume VII, "Official Rank Examination eunuch" recorded: "Chen Ye, the character Weishi, a native of Longxi, Fujian. At the beginning of the Wanli Calendar, he was given the honor of Gwangju Shou by lifting people. Its ancestor Yuanguang, born in Gwangju, had meritorious service in the Tang Dynasty and was kept of Min, because of the Min people. Li Shu, the gentleman of the state, is regarded as a gentleman of the state, and his marriage is better than the party. When the rulers of the world give different laws and practice a whip law, those who practice it are not completely good. Qianlong's "Chronicle of Gwangju", vol. 48, "Eunuch Chronicles (III)": "Chen Ye's character is only real, a native of Longxi, Fujian. At the beginning of the Wanli Calendar, he was appointed as the guardian of Gwangju. His ancestor Yuanguang, a native of BenguangZhou, had meritorious service in the Tang Dynasty and lived in Min. In The Eleventh Volume of Shunzhi's "Chronicle of Gwangju", "Yiwen Kao (Part I), Zhang Xianxian wrote an article entitled "Chen Gongtiao Whip DeZheng", praising Chen Yuanguang's thirty-sixth grandson Chen Ye for asking for the lives of the people of his hometown, good governance and loving the people: "The public name Xiao Yan, a native of Longxi County, Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. Through these records, it can be seen that Chen Yuanguang's descendants, whether in the Tang Dynasty or later in the Ming Dynasty, had the same love for their hometown, and the people's admiration for Chen was also consistent, which was not only out of respect for the great hero Chen Yuanguang, but also for the chen descendants who did not forget their hometown and were full of affection for their hometown.
