At the end of the reporting period, the company's total assets were 19,788,630,594 yuan, down 6% from the end of the previous year, and the net assets attributable to the shareholders of the listed company were 13,267,353,443 yuan, down 4% from the end of the previous year.
It is understood that in the first half of 2020, the company achieved operating income of 5.89 billion yuan, an increase of 10% year-on-year; gross profit of 2.33 billion yuan, an increase of 23%. This was mainly due to the continued double-digit growth of liquid methionine, the maintenance of prices in the vitamin business at a high level despite supply concerns in the market and the continued growth of the specialty business.
