Li Honghai, Zi Yixin, Fang Zhou, Wuqingren, Tianjin, is currently the vice president of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Military Museum of the Chinese Revolution, a director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the International Exchange Committee of the China Calligraphers Association, a director of the China International Friendship and Liaison Association, a director of the China Association for International Exchange, a visiting professor of the National Defense University, and a member of the Calligraphy Creation Committee of the Academy of Fine Arts and Calligraphy of the People's Liberation Army of the Chinese, and enjoys special government allowances from the State Council.

Li Honghai studied under Mr. Qi Gong, and after a long period of diligent study and hard work, he formed a book style of inner and outer expansion, dense interrelationship, beautiful bones, and exquisite and free. His seal engraving works start from the Xi seal characters, and then the engraving of the ancient seal Han seal, the heart chases the hand, the cultivation of the stone unremittingly, the seal method changes in a variety of ways, the ancient elegance is beautiful, the sword is calm and vigorous, the square is strange, and the seal is printed in nature.
