Entering the primary school, Jiang Zhujun worked hard and achieved outstanding results, and completed all the courses of the primary school in only three and a half years.

Subsequently, Jiang Zhujun successively entered Chongqing South Bank Middle School, China Public School Affiliated Middle School, Zhonghua Vocational School and Sichuan University. In 1939, Jiang Zhujun, a middle school student, joined the Communist Party of China. In 1943, the party organization arranged for her to be an assistant to Peng Yongwu, one of the leaders of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China at that time, to do correspondence work. At the same time, they disguised themselves as husband and wife and formed a "family" as a secret organ of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and a guidance center for the rectification study of underground party organizations. In 1945, Jiang Zhujun and Peng Yongwu were officially married, and then stayed in Chongqing to assist Peng Yongwu in her work, responsible for handling party affairs and internal and external liaison work, and comrades affectionately called her "Sister Jiang".

In 1947, Jiang Zhujun was appointed by the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China to organize students from colleges and middle schools to wage a heroic struggle against the Kuomintang reactionaries. Under the direct leadership of her husband, Peng Yongwu, Jiang Zhujun also served as a liaison and organization for the distribution of the Underground Publication of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, The Zhenjin Bao. Jiang Zhujun, as a liaison officer of the Cpc Eastern Sichuan Provisional Committee and the Xiachuan Eastern Prefectural Committee, went to the forefront of the struggle with her husband.

Bamboo sticks are made of bamboo, and the will of communists is steel! ”

On November 14, 1949, on the eve of the liberation of Chongqing, Jiang Zhujun was killed by Agents of the Kuomintang Military Command at the age of 29 in Zha di Dong Prison.
