The classic opera "Sister Jiang" recently took the stage in Haikou and made a closing performance at the 2021 (22nd) Hainan International Tourism Island Joy Festival.
The opera "Sister Jiang", produced by Red Baidai (Beijing) Culture Media Co., Ltd., brings together the original team of the fifth generation "Sister Jiang" crew of the former Air Force Political Department Cultural and Labor Troupe, starring the famous soprano singer and the fifth generation of "Sister Jiang" Wang Li, and the second generation of "Sister Jiang" actor Sun Shaolan also returned to the stage to perform, reflecting the original taste of the opera "Sister Jiang".
To be able to star in the opera "Sister Jiang" again, singer Wang Li said that the inheritance of "Sister Jiang" is the mission of passing on from generation to generation. She and her crew colleagues will take Sister Jiang as an example, hold the baton in their hands, use the spirit of Sister Jiang to inherit the opera "Sister Jiang", and strive to make the play "Sister Jiang" always live on the stage and live in people's hearts.

Chen Xiaotao, artistic director of the play, said that Haikou is the beginning of the performance of the fifth generation of the original opera "Sister Jiang", and in the future, the crew will take this original classic opera to perform throughout the country, especially in the hometown of revolutionary martyr Jiang Zhujun and the place where she sacrificed her work.
In his view, the former military cultural and labor troupe has created and performed many excellent literary and artistic works, such as the opera "Sister Jiang", "The Daughter of the Party", "The Eternal Radio Wave", and the dance drama "Red Mezan", etc., which have a great influence in the country after the premiere, and now these works need to be inherited and continued to be staged, so starting with the opera "Sister Jiang", the future will continue to inherit and build other red classics, so that these red classic literary and artistic programs can be handed down and let the audience often see.
