After divorce, selling literature to survive, taking the traitorous mayor as a patron, ending in a bad reputation 01, marriage is unfortunate, selling literature for livelihood 02, being a secretary for a traitor, exchanging a position and money 03, writing a book to preach sexual liberation, advocating that women only fall in love and not get married 04, after liberation, they are implicated in the Hu Feng incident, and the ending is very tragic

During the fall of Shanghai, the female writer Su Qing can be described as a famous and unlimited scenery, competing with the famous writer Zhang Ailing, and calling the wind and rain in Shanghai's literary and art circles, all because she found a backer, as her strong backing. This patron was Chen Gongbo, the mayor of Shanghai at the time of the puppet government of the No. 2 traitor in the country.

Su Qing lost her national integrity and looked for a traitorous mayor as a patron, just like some professional women looking for corrupt officials and corrupt officials as a backer, and the result can be imagined to be infamous.

Su Qing (1914-1982), formerly known as Feng Heyi, was a famous female writer, novelist and essayist in Shanghai in the 1940s. A native of Ningbo, Zhejiang.

Born in Shuxiangmendi, Su Qing's father once opened his own bank after studying abroad and returned to China, and then due to poor management, the bank collapsed, unemployed and unhappy at home, he often scolded Su Qing's mother, Su Qing grew up in such a family environment. From an early age, women have felt that they are vulnerable and bullied.

Her academic performance was very good, and she was admitted to Nanjing University as a foreign language major at the age of 19. In the family of male superiority and female inferiority, parents think that girls are always going to marry, so they set a family affair for Su Qing, and this boy is still Su Qing's high school classmate. Shortly after they entered the university, Su Qing dropped out of school and went home to get married.

After getting married, Su Qing gave birth to four girls in succession, and the in-laws had a serious idea of preferring sons to daughters, and they were very dissatisfied with Su Qing. Su Qing's husband, Li Qinhou, is a young master, and the lawyer's career development is not good, and he cannot earn money to support his family, so family conflicts arise one after another, and he often quarrels for money. Su Qing asked her husband for the living expenses of the family, and instead of giving it, her husband slapped Su Qing and threatened: "If you don't want money, you have the ability to earn it yourself!" "There is a habit of the great young master, but after starting a family, there is no strength of the great young master, the family cannot afford to support, there is no responsibility, such a man is met by Su Qing, it is also unfortunate."

Under such unbearable living conditions, Su Qing continued to work hard and gave birth to a son. Her husband could not rely on it, in order to support the family, Su Qing began to write and sell money to support the family.

Su Qing's husband can't take on the responsibility of supporting the family, and he is still cheating outside and hooking up with neighbor women. After being discovered by Su Qing, he firmly believed in the idea of divorce. Su Qing moved away from home and began to live separately from her husband.

Su Qing was more talented, in 1935, in order to express the bitterness of women giving birth, he wrote an essay "Birth Girl" submitted to the "Analects" magazine, and later changed the title to "Giving Birth to a Man and Having a Daughter" and published it, which was the beginning of creation. Since then, Su Qing has become famous in Shanghai Beach and has become a well-known female writer.

With the fame of Su Qing, there have been more social activities. In 1943, at a meeting held by the shanghai puppet government and the Literary Association at that time, the writers instigated Su Qing to write an article praising the mayor Chen Gongbo, and Su Qing wrote an article praising Chen Gongbo, in which she described Chen Gongbo in this way: "In a photo studio on Spicy Fei De Road, his 16-inch enlarged bust quietly sighed on the purple-red silk pile. His nose was large and his face was solemn, which made me see a sense of awe and a lack of intimacy. ”。

Such a description was published, and after being seen by the mayor Chen Gongbo, chen Gongbo, who had admired Su Qing's talent, needed a pen to publicize and cheer for his pseudo-government, so he threw an olive branch to Su Qing and hired Su Qing as his secretary. Su Qing was not familiar with official duties, and only served as a confidential officer.

In 1943, the representative work of the long autobiographical novel "Ten Years of Marriage" began to be serialized in "Wind and Rain Talk", which was once called a bold female writer and was discredited; the book was published in a single edition the following year, republished nine times in half a year, and by the end of 1948, there were as many as 18 editions.

At that time, in order to save 30% of the distribution money, Su Qing personally carried the book to the street to sell. Chen Gongbo saw that Su Qing was working so hard and said, "Why does a woman fight so hard?" "Through someone else transferring a sum of money to Su Qing to buy her a house, this contributed to the divorce of Su Qing and her husband."

Chen Gongbo admired Su Qing's talent, and gave her ten thousand yuan to enter the publishing industry, hosting the magazine "Tiandi" and founding the "Little Heaven and Earth" magazine and the Four Seas Publishing House.

Chen Gongbo also personally published articles in the journal, and the writers in this journal are very famous, such as Zhang Ailing's husband Hu Lancheng. The publication was very successful, and Chen Gongbo was very satisfied and continued to send money to Su Qing.

Because Chen Gongbo, who wrote an article to praise the mayor of Shanghai, was appointed as a government commissioner, did not have to go to work, and received a thousand oceans of silver every month. No wonder there are rumors that Su Qing is chen dahan's underground concubine. Shanghai paper is in short supply, but she can get Chen's special approval notes, not only that, she does not hide her eyes, but she has to sit on a truck full of paper in a bright and beautiful cheongsam, flaunting the market.

Jiang Gui, a writer who moved to Hong Kong after liberation, knew Su Qing better.

Jiang Gui talked about Su Qing and Chen Gongbo in "Me and Su Qing", which must have come from Su Qing's mouth, and see what he said——

Su Qing's divorce was originally instigated by Chen Gongbo. "Why did Chen Gongbo break up a couple?" Nature itself already has contradictions between the two, which is needless to say, and the more important reason, of course, is for their own convenience. Su Qing followed Chen Gongbo, the first name was "retinue secretary", "a well-intentioned third party warned her to beware of Mo Guokang's poisonous hands, she changed her mind." Mo Guokang was Chen Gongbo's "retinue secretary" in front, so why did Su Qing come to beware of poisoners? Of course, it is not competition in work, but to win favors and jealousy, so that we can understand that the relationship between Su Qing and Chen Gongbo is actually the relationship between Chen Gongbo and Mo Guokang. Su Qing later took up the post of municipal commissioner, "Chen Gongbo gave her a cheque book of the Fuxing Bank, each of which has been signed and sealed, and only when she fills in the numbers, she can spend the money." "Chen Gongbo received her, often in a room on a certain floor of the International Hotel." Copying here, we can basically understand what kind of relationship between Su Qing and Chen Gongbo is. In this way, Su Qing's praise for Chen Gongbo's nose was a heartfelt remark, although the relationship between the two only lasted for a short time.

On August 15, 1945, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression ended, and due to Su Qing's close relationship with the traitor Chen Gongbo, Su Qing was under pressure from public opinion and was scolded as a "literary prostitute", "sex trafficker", "writer who fell into the water", "Han traitor literati" and so on. The History of the Crimes of Cultural Traitors, published in November 1945 by Sima Wen, lists 16 cultural traitors, including Zhang Ailing, Zhang Ziping, and Tan Zhengbi, and Su Qing is among them.

In 1946, Chen Gongbo was arrested and executed by firing squad. In 1947, "Ten Years of Continued Marriage" was published, in which Su Qing expressed his expression of Chen Gongbo's death:

"I recall the drunken green night, he was so bold and sincere, full of prosperity, and suddenly became a dream. Is life so unpredictable? His life was unfortunate, now everything has passed, the past is counted, the sadness of history is endless. ”

She was still lamenting the traitorous "master" in her heart.

Confucius's Analects said, "Men and women who eat and drink are the great desires of man." This sentence was changed by Su Qing: "Eat men, women's great desires." In her works, she unabashedly talks about sexual liberation. Most of the works are the content of love, marriage, male and female love, and there is no mention of current politics and war.

In 1943, she began to serialize her classic "Ten Years of Marriage", which was well received and created a legend in the industry at that time, but also because of the bold talk of sex in this book, she also got the title of "Prostitute of the Republic of China", and in the content of this book, she also wrote the details of her affair with Hu Lancheng (Zhang Ailing's later husband), although she used a pseudonym, but everyone could see the truth at a glance.

"They left me and went home to rest. They have wives and children, so how can they give up their little family that they have built? They told me that there was no way, so how could my husband break up with me? I hate them and hate all men! Am I such a woman who is so unworthy to fight for? ”

Although she strives to find a gentle home, she also realizes that due to gender differences, it is difficult for women to have an independent personality. So she asked the society:

"If a red face is not thin, this red face is often unknown; if the thin life is not a red face, its thin life is also recognized as ordinary... Historians are the most snobbish, and criticizing women's merits always follow beauty. Isn't it true that beautiful women deserve a short life, and only a red face and a thin life are worth talking about, big books and special books? ”

She is not pretty, and she does not get the true love of men, so she strives to write for psychological balance.

She was an editor herself, and a magazine called Heaven and Earth flourished.

"The first issue, originally printed in three thousand, went on sale on October 8 and sold out within two days. When the advertisement appeared in the newspaper on the morning of October 10, the book was already out of stock, so it was quickly printed with two thousand, and it was sold out."

(Su Qing's "The Taste of Being an Editor") Hu Lancheng read Zhang Ailing's "Blockade" published above to achieve a relationship between them.

Su Qing and Zhang Ailing originally had a working relationship, and they also had contacts and admired each other. But just because of the improper relationship between Su Qing and Hu Lancheng. They are superficially harmonious and angry, but privately they are also jealous and competitive with each other, and their deep understanding of life makes them feel sorry for each other. "If she and I are only in a business relationship, she perfunctorily treats me, I perfunctory her in order to pull the manuscript, in order to ask for the fee, it may be closer to the truth, but I always feel that I can't say that there is no feeling at all." 」 Zhang Ailing said.

The relationship between the two is particularly delicate. Su Qing held a literary and art salon that year and did not invite Zhang Ailing to participate, and Zhang Ailing's novel "Little Reunion" talked about all her friends but did not mention Su Qing.

Su Qing carried the name of a traitor, and in the early days of liberation when he was politically in command, his situation was conceivable. Zhang Ailing, who also had the name of a traitor, went to Hong Kong in the early days of liberation and settled in the United States.

At the end of 1949, after the founding of New China, Su Qing joined the women's group "Women's Production Promotion Association", which was considered to be an attempt to enter a new life, but for a while he could not find a job and could not support his family.

In 1951, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture Drama Choreographer Study Class enrollment, Su Qing went to register, but was not admitted, and then Xia Yan came forward to be approved. After graduating from the study class, she was assigned to work in the Fanghuayue Opera Troupe headed by Yin Guifang, and wrote several plays to cooperate with the "Three Antis" and "Five Antis" movements, but they were unsuccessful. Later, she adapted Guo Moruo's Qu Yuan, which premiered in May 1954 and received a very good response.

In 1955, she was imprisoned on suspicion of the Hu Feng case. After a year and a half of being released from prison, she lost her job and made life even more difficult in order to live in the theater to guard the gates. She was plagued by diseases, suffering from a variety of diseases, tuberculosis, asthma, diabetes, etc., but she had no money to see a doctor, so she had to ask her close relatives for help, while the other party drew a clear line with her and cut off contact.

This is really in response to what she said seems to be unintentional: "They (men) have all lied to me, and maybe in the future I will have to be deceived by the children, and I will have to work hard to be empty." In the face of the ruthlessness of her loved ones, she closed the door and let her body continue to deteriorate, without healing. She served some flowers and plants, and she said, "These flowers are my companions at the end of my life." She was already disappointed in life, and all she hoped for was to die soon. In the long years, she and divorced young daughter Li Chongmei and three generations of small grandchildren, living in a 10-square-meter house, relying on each other.

In her last letter to her old friend, she said: "Bedridden all day, unable to eat anything, instead of chinese medicine, the outpatient clinic charges one yuan each time, can not be reimbursed, I am very sick, only to die early, no one will be notified when I die." On December 7, 1982, Su Qing died. He was 69 years old. When she was critically ill, she wanted to see "Ten Years of Marriage" again, but there was no book at home.

In summary, the poor and unfortunate marriage forced Su Qing into the workplace, and in the process of selling literature to survive, he lost his national position and got on the thief ship of the puppet government and the traitorous mayor. Lost faith in marriage in broken marriages, wrote essays advocating sexual liberation. The wrong rhythm of this step laid a minefield for the second half of her life.

But those who have the right to trade in sex cannot speak of independence in personality. But those who have lost their national position can never raise their heads before the people. The path of a woman's quest for independence is arduous, but it cannot be taken in the wrong way.
