The establishment of the Paris Commune has its own special historical background. In 1871, under the complicated situation of unprecedented intensification of class and national contradictions in France, the French working class and revolutionary masses revolted and established the Paris Commune. Although the Paris Commune existed for only 72 days, it was of great significance as a new innovation of the proletarian revolution to the development of human society and the influence of world history.

The study and commemoration of the Paris Commune by all sectors of The French community has never stopped, and many French leftists still have a deep affection for the Paris Commune. Wei Aoyu, a professor at the University of Paris III and an expert in French social history, said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency that the occurrence of the Paris Commune in Paris, France, was not accidental, but had its historical inevitability. On the one hand, French capitalism was in a period of rise at that time, and the working class was growing; on the other hand, French society and culture had a long history, the atmosphere was relatively relaxed, the intellectual class was huge, and various social trends of thought collided with each other, which was conducive to the rise and dissemination of proletarian thought.

Wei Aoyu told reporters that Marx's thought was maturing when he lived in Paris, and although Marx himself did not directly participate in the Paris Commune movement, he conducted systematic thinking and research on the Paris Commune, and wrote an important ideological document "The French Civil War" according to the movement, which had a great impact on future generations.

In The French Civil War, Marx summed up the lessons of the Paris Commune, developed the Marxist doctrine of proletarian revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat, and put forward a series of ideas on the construction of proletarian state power.

Wei Aoyu believes that the left-wing social trend in France is not only at the theoretical level, but many people are actively putting theory into practice. In the 150 years since the establishment of the Paris Commune, the practice of scientific socialism has continued in many parts of the world.

Wei Aoyu pointed out that many of the measures of the Paris Commune were advanced in the practice of proletarian revolution, such as abolishing the privilege system, abolishing the high wage system, and the remuneration of the commune leadership should be lower than the average wage of the workers. The fearless revolutionary spirit of the members of the Paris Commune who performed honesty and honesty will be forever remembered.

The Chinese Communists and revolutionaries attached great importance to the historical experience of the Paris Commune. When talking about the influence of the Paris Commune on the Chinese revolution, Wei Aoyu said that the spirit of the Paris Commune movement directly influenced Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, and other leaders of the older generation of the Communist Party of China who went to France to work and study a hundred years ago, and promoted them to establish a firm belief in communism and achieve a fundamental change in their world outlook.

It is worth mentioning that among the early leaders of the Chinese Communist Party, Qu Qiubai introduced the Paris Commune very early. He wrote a special section on the "Commune" in the History of the Heart of the Red Capital, which gave a brief overview of the Paris Commune. At that time, there were many Chinese translations of the "Paris Commune", and the translation of the Paris Commune was considered by scholars to be the first of Qu Qiubai.

The influence of the Paris Commune on China cannot be spoken of without mentioning the Internationale. Born in the tragic end of the Paris Commune in 1871, the Internationale celebrates the communist ideals and revolutionary spirit of its members. "The Internationale" has been sung in China for a hundred years, spanning all stages of the Chinese revolution and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in China. The majestic "Internationale" has long been a song played at the end of the National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the party's major events.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, scientific socialism and Marxism will surely develop further in China. The revolutionary spirit of the Paris Commune will always inspire the people of the Chinese to make unremitting efforts to achieve the goal of "two hundred years" and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
