The documentary "Copper Soul" takes the real copper history of Dongchuan as the creative material, presents it in the form of a documentary, and at the same time enters the film narrative technique, which enhances the viewing and storytelling of the film under the premise of recording the truth and respecting history. The protagonist of the film, Zhao Ying, is a dancer and also the "third generation of mines" in Dongchuan, because he has been studying outside since childhood, and his impression of the mining area is mostly known through the narration of his grandfather, grandmother and parents. The film is based on Zhao Ying's need to create a large-scale dance and return to Dongchuan to find inspiration as the main line. Through the method of film documentary, it records the story of Zhao Ying's journey to Dongchuan to collect style, meet different people, and learn about Dongchuan from their stories, and understand the historical changes of prosperity, decline and development experienced by Dongchuan, a mining city with a long history of copper industry. The story mainly revolves around Tang Dan, which is the core area of the Dongchuan Mining Bureau, and all the related Dongchuan copper mines and derivative events can be found here.

"The Loyal Martyrs of Nanzhao" restores the disaster experienced by the Surrender to the Tang Dynasty during the Nanzhao period through the film, showing the strategic significance played by the sacred mountain of the Yi people, the Palanquin Mountain, in the Nanzhao period, and at the same time, through the filming of the film, it also shows the natural scenery of the red land of Yunnan photography paradise. The film, which was written by Zhang Mu many years ago, has not been released and will now be released online. If dali Duanshi represents the peak state of Yunnan during the Song Dynasty, it is more of a historical interpretation or legend. The history of Nanzhao during the Tang Dynasty is definitely a magnificent poem and a history of the endless struggle of the Chinese nation.
