The premiere of "Copper Soul" took the lead in starting, the film took the real copper history of Dongchuan as the creative material, presented in the form of a documentary, and at the same time entered the film narrative technique, under the premise of recording the truth and respecting history, enhancing the viewing and storytelling of the film.

The protagonist of the film, Zhao Ying, is a dancer and also the "mine generation" of Dongchuan. Since I was a child, I have been studying outside, and my impression of the mining area is mostly learned through the stories of my grandfather, grandmother, and parents. The film is based on Zhao Ying's need to create a large-scale dance and return to Dongchuan to find inspiration as the main line. Through the method of film documentary, it records zhao Ying's visit to Dongchuan to collect style, meet different people, and learn about Dongchuan from their stories, know Dongchuan, and know the historical changes of prosperity, decline and development of Dongchuan, a mining city with a long history of copper industry.

The entry point of "The Loyal Martyrs of Nanzhao" is even larger, and the disaster experienced by the Surrender to the Tang Dynasty during the Nanzhao period is restored through the film. The film shows the strategic significance of the sacred mountain of the Yi people, the Palanquin Mountain, in the Nanzhao period, and at the same time, through the film's filming, it also shows the natural scenery of the red land of Yunnan photography paradise.

The film, which was written by Zhang Mu many years ago, has not been released and will now be released online. According to Zhang Mu, the original intention of making these two films was to use two different narrative methods to show the audience two pieces of history about Yunnan.

Zhang Mu, as a local director of Dongchuan, the films he creates are based on some stories that happen around him, hoping to let more people see the stories around him through the performance of the film, which is why he has always chosen to take root in local creation.
