At the epidemic checkpoint in Yongsheng Village, Hongshan Yao Town, 30 kilometers west of Yongchang County, a thin figure busily shuttled among passing vehicles and pedestrians, checking and registering, which was frozen in people's minds. This 17-year-old teenager is Zhang Feikai, an epidemic prevention volunteer who lives in the fourth society of Yongsheng Village, and his meticulous work is convincing, and he is called "black-faced small bag gong" by the staff who work together in epidemic prevention.
"Please stand outside the one-meter line and show your health code and itinerary code." Every day, Zhang Feikai speaks a standard Mandarin, repeatedly reminds every passerby, and under the arrangement of the village committee, sometimes blocks passing vehicles and pedestrians, sometimes carefully checks the registration, sometimes measures the temperature of passing personnel, scrambles to work overtime, and does not want to be idle for a moment. The small figure dressed in protective clothing has become a beautiful scenery at the checkpoint of Yongsheng Village.
The reporter learned in the interview that Zhang Feikai, 17 years old this year, lives in the fourth company of Yongsheng Village in Hongshan Kiln Town, Yongchang County, and after graduating from Xi'an High-tech College this year, he sought a job at an advertising agency in Jiuquan City. Due to the disability of the father, the death of the mother due to illness, the grandmother and grandfather who are nearly seventy years old have been bedridden for many years due to the car accident caused by leg fractures, emphysema, and the sister is studying at Hexi College, and the family life is very difficult, which is a second-class low-income household. In the face of such a difficult family situation, Zhang Feikai always has a sunny face, and he bears the responsibility of manhood outside the home.
When the new crown epidemic broke out in December 2019, Zhang Feikai joined the frontline of volunteer service in Xi'an to distribute supplies in a community.
On September 28 this year, Zhang Feikai returned home to visit his family. In mid-October, the epidemic checkpoint began to be set up around his hometown, and after Zhang Feikai took care of the housework, he signed up for the epidemic prevention volunteer service team in Yongsheng Village and told the party branch of Yongsheng Village: Resolutely obey the arrangement, where you need to go, which post will be hard to do. According to his wishes, the village party branch arranged for him to do auxiliary work such as disinfection and cleaning at the village epidemic prevention and control testing point, but he did not be ordinary because of his ordinary post, scrambling to work, and his outstanding work ability gradually made him the "main force" of the checkpoint.
Wang Chao, the leader of the village help and support team, told reporters that since October 21, Zhang Feikai has never returned home to rest, and colleagues are worried that his body cannot eat, and often persuade him to go home to rest, but Zhang Feikai insists on sticking to his post and sleeps in a tent for up to four or five hours a day. "What he has done has played a very encouraging role in our work and is worth learning from all of us." Wang Chao said movingly.
The most bitter, tired and most in need of strengthening the epidemic monitoring point is the temperature measurement, registration, and persuasion to return to the work, because Zhang Feikai has taken the initiative to fight many times, and the party branch of Yongsheng Village has followed his wishes and let him wear protective clothing. The weather in Hongshan Kiln Town before winter was already cold and windy, Zhang Feikai was busy, and sweat and chill could not break his will. Because of his meticulous and serious work, he was called "black-faced little bag man" by colleagues and passers-by. In the face of this title, Zhang Feikai just smiled thickly. In his heart, the safety of the village and the safety of the masses are more important than anyone and anything else.
