Today I want to share with you ham and pea braised tofu. The main ingredients used today are tofu, ham and peas. The first two ingredients do not need to be introduced too much, mainly want to talk about peas. Today we need to use green peas, also called "tender peas".

Peas have a delicious taste, rounded shape and emerald green color, and have been loved by people since they were introduced to China.
As early as the Han Dynasty, China began to grow peas, when peas were used as a supplement to grain, which was ground into pea flour after the fruit was ripe, and then eaten. Because the seeds, young pods and young seedlings of peas are edible. Therefore, the peas cultivated in China are mainly divided into two types, namely grain peas and vegetable peas. The green peas we use are the young fruits of peas that can be eaten as vegetables.
【Ham tofu fried peas】
Ingredients required: green peas, ham, tofu, ginger, garlic, green onion, thirteen spices, pepper, starch, salt, chicken essence
The cooking process is as follows:
1. Prepare some fresh pea pods first, it is best to buy emerald green in color and full of fruit when purchasing.
2. Prepare a piece of tofu, a piece of ham and a bowl of peeled tender peas. Then cut the tofu into cubes of about 2 centimeters and the ham into small cubes.
3. First prepare some thirteen spices and pepper. Then take a small bowl and add the chopped ginger, garlic, and green onion. Finally, prepare an appropriate amount of starch.
4. Boil hot water in the pot, wait for the water to boil, put a small amount of salt into the pot, and then put the cut tofu in the water and cook for two minutes. Finally, prepare a bowl of water and put the boiled tofu in the water to cool it down.
5. Prepare a wok, pour the right amount of cooking oil into the pan, first add the green onion, ginger and garlic minced, and sauté until fragrant. Then pour in the green peas, stir-fry until the color deepens, and then pour in the drained tofu.
6. Add the diced ham and add the prepared thirteen spices and pepper. Finally, pour in the right amount of water and simmer all the ingredients together for about ten minutes.
7. Wait until the soup in the pot is significantly reduced and the green peas are soft and rotten. Add water to the prepared starch and mix to form water starch. Then add the right amount of salt and chicken essence to the pot to taste, and pour the water starch into the pot while hot.
8. Finally, put the cooked food and put it on the plate.
This dish of tofu is soft and tender, ham is salty, peas are both tender and fragrant, and the three ingredients are fully integrated, which is really delicious!
